The three closest to the Port are going to be the County Inn & Suites, Residence Inn and the Radisson at the Port. They are all good motels and all have a shuttle to the port (fees for this may vary) so check with them directly.

Yes this has changed.......there is a shuttle fee. Not sure how much if you don't have a car. All of the hotels now charge. We used to get free shuttle/parking with any rate at the Radisson, but that changed as of 5/1/11 because of the per vehicle fee that has been imposed by the Port.

On our Dream cruise last May I saw more guys wearing shorts in the dining room than I have ever seen on any other cruiseline I have been on. No one paid a bit of attention, so tell your husband if he wants to wear nice shorts.....go for it........my husband did......:cool1:

Bottom line is if you do NOT know any employee as the rate requires then it would not be the "right" thing to do for you to get that rate.......:sad2: I hope they are now verifying this information at check-in.

You may get different opinions on this but we always leave our passports locked in the safe and take only a copy of the picture page with us. You will only need your ship card and a photo ID to get back on board. (A driver's license will suffice as your picture ID) Hope this helps.....

When we were on the Dream in May they definately DID have Lactaid milk. On one occasion our server brought the carton to the table to pour it into the glass so I did see it was the Lactaid brand. Hope this helps.....
