    Jungle Cruise Getting a Makeover

Read between the lines, they are getting rid of the skippers.

7 days in parks, how many masks?

In humid areas, you need to change a surgical mask every 20 minutes.

How do you feel about wearing a mask at Disney parks?

Not only do masks have limited effectiveness, the environmental conditions and duration of stay are not conducive to wearing masks. I think a much more reasonable approach would to be to adhere to the science and data and restrict entrance for those over 60 or with high risk factors. Also, they...

How do you feel about wearing a mask at Disney parks?

They may be required, but that will be lifted as soon as the first person passes out from heat exhaustion and cracks their noggin.

    Fewer fireworks?

Jaded on just my second cruise. :worried:

    Fewer fireworks?

We just came off a 4 nighter on the Dream and had an absolutely amazing time. My wife and I came away with only one negative comparison to our first DCL cruise. Are there fewer fireworks now and are there less deck space playing the pirates music? We could be misremembering. Anyone have a...

Any redheads here going to WDW?

If you still have a link, I would love to read that. Stuff like that interests me. Thanks in advance. The only thing I have seen scientifically is a higher sensitivity and threshold for pain (nothing major though) and an increased resistance to anesthetics (I can attest to this one. Makes...

This is why the new FastPass- is the pits (and I'm being VERY nice w/that)

My family and I just got back from a visit to MK. I have to say I found the system to be seamless and very easy to use. I wasn't a big FP user in the past since I feel there are better ways to maximize your time in the park. This time I scheduled a few FPs for my daughter's first visit. This...

Any redheads here going to WDW?

Being a bald redhead, I really can't spend much time in the sun without burning. It has become second nature to use SPF 30. I really have no problems otherwise. There is nothing to the thought that reds can't handle the heat though. Just use prudent protection, sunscreen and hat.

    Cutting in Line

I politely tell the person(s) that they cannot cut in line, but they are free to have the rest of their party come back and join them. That has worked out well so far.

just read bad review of Coral Reef....is it still true?

We go every time we are in Disney. I absolutely love the catfish. It is still the best I have ever tried. The soups are also very good. My wife had a cold meal once, but that was the exception.

    POFQ laundry question?

There are plenty of units to use. What we do is put a load in before we get ready for dinner, put in in the dryer just before we leave for dinner, and take it out when we get back from dinner. Works well for us. It hardly feels like we are spending any time doing it.

    how far is the walk?

The proximity to the gate is one of the top features of the resorts in the Epcot area. It is one of my favorite areas of WDW.

    All that walking~shoes?

People recommend plenty of shoes and express concern about blisters. The biggest consideration is that you break in the shoes well before you leave for vacation. My choice is a mesh top running shoe with a quality sock. Crocs have so many downsides, in my opinion, that I'm not even going to...

Adding a person to an ADR

My DW, DS, and I are going this spring and we have all of our ADRs. My father has decided to come down for a few days. He will not have the dining plan. How hard is it to change the ADR from 3-4? Usually a table would have seating for four, so I don't think it should be too much of a problem to...

    Guest for a few days

No, he does not want or need to be on the dining plan. He would also buy his tickets separately.

    Guest for a few days

My wife, son, and I are staying for 9 days at WL. If my father wanted to stay in our room for 2 nights, do we need to pay any extra for the room? I understand that he will need his own tickets and dining.

How bad is the pizza at WDW?

Personally I do not like NY style Pizza. DO NOT TOSS THE DOUGH!! It makes it flat and tasteless. Sicilian, Chicago, or Old Forge is the way to go. That being said, the WDW pizza is ok. It tastes like DiGiorno from the frozen section of the store. It is thick and doughy. The sauce is fairly...
