    what the heck?

I'm having the same issue. Also the 180+10 window is not open for me. I check in on 12/2, and then switch resorts on 12/4, and nothing past 12/4 is open for me, however it is highlighted through 12/9. We are looking for some big ticket ADRs, but also some easier ones.

Your top 5 restaurants: bang for the buck

The Plaza Restaurant in MK is wonderful. Very basic food, but good portion sizes, and the chicken and strawberry salad is wonderful. The cost per person would probably be around $12-15, and it's a small, quiet place to chill out for a while. Also, at Fort Wilderness, there's the Trails End...

College Program Questions Thread, Pt 3

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I just want to confirm that DCP participants have to buy tickets for MNSSHP and MVMCP. My family is starting to plan their trip to visit me in October and I just wanted to know the details so they know if they should get my ticket when they order theirs...

    Disney Tattoos

Hey all! I posted on here about 8 months ago, talking about my Tinkerbell tattoo, which I did get, and I LOVE :goodvibes: And I will post a picture on here, using my nice new camera, but I always seem to remember at terrible times, say while writing an paper, or reading textbooks. However, I...

A few questions as our trip approaches...

So, my first trip to DL is swiftly approaching :cool1:. First: I am staying at the Sheraton Anaheim Hotel. I was wondering if anyone has stayed here before, and how far it is from property. I know there is a shuttle to the parks every half hour, but I was wondering how the walk to the parks...

    2012 Fall Advantage!!!

Hey everyone! I'm also hoping to do the 2012 Fall CP. I'm currently not sure if I'll be doing advantage or not, but either way, I'm starting to get excited about a new adventure. I'm graduating this spring with a degree in european history and a minor in theatre performance, and I'm hoping to...

    How long to go down?

I think we have settled on 3 days. Thanks to everyone for their input! On a related note, are there any restaurants, stores, or experiences we should be sure not to miss? I realize this is a short trip, even adding a third day, but seeing as we are coming from the other side of the country, we...

    How long to go down?

I am going down in febuary and staying from the 21st to the 24th. Is this enough time to see and do everything? This is our first time and we want to see and ride many of the rides and attractions. We are Disney World veterans and are willing to go from opeing to closing non-interupted and have...

    Age to Check In?

You can arrive at any time you want to. That early in the morning, it's likely that there won't be any rooms available, so you couldn't go to your room. But you can check in, and leave your bags at the hotel. Then they will contact you when your room is available, and you will then be able to...

    Need POFQ room request advice.......

I agree with PP. Building 4 is my family's favorite. It's nice to be so close to the main building and the pool. However, POFQ has fairly small grounds, and last summer we stayed in Building 1, right along the Sassagoula River. It was probably the furthest building away from the main...

    Strangest Interactions With Other Guests?

Last spring, I was in WDW for a golf tournament with my college team. It was a very hot and sunny week, and being from the northeast, I got quite a bit of sun on the course, and my cheeks and nose were as red as a lobster. Toy Story Mania had just opened, and my family and I hoped to get a few...

*If* you have taken your kids out of school for Disney, what grade did you stop?

This is really a matter of you and your children being responsible about getting school work done. I am in college, my brother is in 8th grade, and both of my parents are teachers. We have both missed school at all levels, and in all honesty, most of my teachers have been jealous that I am...

For the $$$, where would YOU stay???

I would highly recommend WL. That is an excellent price for that quality of hotel, and while it isn't on the monorail, there is a boat that brings you directly to MK, which is nice. What is also great about WL is that it is one complex, which is very nice if the weather isn't cooperating. It...

Very picky eater...but love ribs and biscuits

My dad is a serious "meat and potato" guy, and loves the ribs at Whispering Canyon Cafe. Since it's family style, you can get your fill of all the ribs you want. Can't think of any biscuits that stick out in my mind, but a trip to Whispering Canyon is worth it for the ribs alone.

Please tell me about all star movies resort

We stayed at All Star Movies in December, and I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed a preferred building in the 101 Dalmatians complex, so we had the shortest walk to the food court. If you are in the Mighty Ducks or Love Bug buildings, you could have QUITE a walk to the main building, food...

    It's the little things....

Sitting on the "beach" at the Wilderness Lodge, watching the Electrical Water Pageant. My entire family makes fun of me, but it's so nice to see something that hasn't been messed with too much since the opening of WDW. I recorded it a few trips ago, and watch it when I get especially...
