Spoke to someone at the front desk at Aulani just now, and they said that there are still no plans for Thanksgiving, but to call back in a few weeks. (???) Yikes.

And what about Thanksgiving? Anyone heard if they'll be doing a buffet "feast" again? I started calling months ago, and they told me that we should hear something by late august........and it's now mid-Sept. Boo hoo! Trying to plan our holiday dinner! LOL

How do you get into that secret Cove from the road? We're taking my 76 year old Mom with us this year, so we couldn't haven gotten there over the rocks like usual anyhow....

Anyone hear anything about a Moana release event at Aulani during the week of Thanksgiving?? I'd be surprised if they weren't doing SOMETHING to promote it. I'm also still holding out on news for a Thanksgiving buffet to RSVP for - but nothing yet! :stitch:

Have you BEEN to Aulani? We love it!! Headed back again at Thanksgiving. Oahu made far more sense with the availability of larger tourist options like Pearl Harbour, Waikiki and the North Shore. Maui is gorgeous - but a much more beach, Sunday drive and boutique shopping type of vacay.

We will be there over Thanksgiving as well! Hoping that we can all help keep each other posted if a special dining event comes available to make reservations for on Thanskgiving- right now, ressies are only open through Monday Nov 21st, and we're planning to eat over at Monkeypod that night...

My mom actually got it so badly in Epcot (it hurt!) - that we took her to the Urgent Care near DTD, and they diagnosed her with "Disney Dermatitis!" doc said (as others have confirmed) - that it's from the heat and the crazy amounts of walking more than usual. Only cure is to keep your feet up...

YES - Anna and Elsa should always be the first grab - but often times, it's already taken by folks who arrive earlier in the week - which is why you should always try for later in the week first.

I would FOR SURE add Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to that MK list. Certainly ahead of Pirates. 7DMT is still averaging a 50-120 min wait! The fireworks and parade viewing spots are also going fast - but you still have to get there before your FP time, or you'll be squished. Better than fighting...

Man.....just saw your post and was going to post something similar! Is it really hard to get into Aulani at the 7 mo mark? I just didn't think it would be since I book cash paying clients in villas all the time, but have done very little research on the DVC side for our trip next August. VGC...
