I chose the Kindle.
With the Kindle, you can share books with your entire family. Well, you can share with anybody you trust with your credit card. I set up a separate gmail account and amazon account just for books. All of our devices are linked to that one account. Most publishers will...
Here is a handy link for towing capacities.
You might want to check out the Sylvan Sport Go. It's not really a pop-up, more like a utility trailer/tent combo. It's only 800 pounds. At about $8,000 it's expensive, but, oh so cool.
I was really hoping that this could replace a bag of text books. My son had back surgery and weight is no longer an annoyance; it's a true barrier.
Kindles are great for reading novels. But, you need color and random access to be useful with magazines and newspapers.
So, I had very...
Sleepless Knight is spot on.
Here are a few examples of things that were changed in the movie BEFORE the change in the time line (the day Kirk was born):
Kirk was born in Iowa. On a farm.
The Farragut was commissioned after the Enterprise, not 20 odd years before.
Constitution class star...
I beg to differ.
This was a very good movie. Great entertainment. But, it was not Star Trek. I feel the same way about the last two "James Bond" movies too.
And, I've got some gripes:
Zachary Quinto is Sylar, not Spock. He will always be evil to me. Quinto as a good guy makes about as...
One problem with a cement pad, it can quickly wear a hole in the bottom of your tent. Be sure to use a tarp under the tent.
You might try using guy lines. Your stake points might be off the pad.
You could also bring some water jugs. Wal-mart has 5 gal cubes for a few dollars. When you fill...

I thought it was the @#$% hat that ruined the best Hidden Mickey ever. (Those old maps show that Mickeys left ear was just painted on a building roof.)
I still hate that hat.
If you don't have room in your luggage, you can have Wal-mart ship an air mattress to you at the resort. It would be much cheaper than renting a rollaway.
Most of the time when I travel for business, I get better speeds using "free Wifi" than from the hotel's paid system.
There are also several reports that local McDonalds, including the one by AK, have free Wifi. But, Canadian Guy said it wasn't available last December.
fort reservation: Dad's cell/home address
POP reservation: Mon's cell/work address
It's not just for the free dining. You never know when the ladies are going to want to bail on the tent. ;)
It's against the rules, but, do you have a plan when it happens?
Little ones need to know to stay on the elevator! It won't be too long until it comes right back to your floor. (Obviously, mom or dad has to have the discipline to stay put too.)
This is my favorite receiver mounted bike rack. I've get the 4 bike version. It's heavy. But it's very easy to use. We have full suspension mountain bikes. They can be very difficult to carry if you don't have a wheel tray type rack.
