That's not quite true. The outlet is a standard outlet but just doesn't have the "oomph" to power something like a hairdryer. I used it on my last cruise for a small digital camera battery charger. I completely agree with your suggestion to bring extension cords. Something I've, regrettably...

Heh, actually we just did that on our last cruise. The CC line was easily twice as long as the regular line (and took twice as long to move). I hopped into the regular line and was done much earlier. To answer the OP's question....I think *perks* for repeat cruisers is great but disagree...

Great trip report! We were on the same sailing and also thought it was a great trip. We also had the 5:30 APL seating. If you were at table 32 we were the couple that never showed up. ;)

After 5 I'm still in love with them (though I can't wait for the new ships/cruises). And to think I used to scoff the DCL when it first launched. I haven't yet drummed up the courage to try another cruise line though.
