    Australia/NZ Cruises

Yes the drinks had the tip included, we added extra. But I saw so many people removing the $14.50usd per day. The amount of times I was attacked in groups for saying that when you book you agree to tip and should be considered part of your cruise costing was insane, and generally admin/mods...

    Australia/NZ Cruises

Unfortunately that is how it is and why most other cruiselines that travel to Australia include the gratuities into their fees after their first sailing. This was also advised to Disney when they did their market research but Disney do as they please. We tipped plus extra - but saw many...

    Drydock for Wonder Sept 2023 - What's Being Renewed/Improved?

the internet was upgraded - it's the same as the other ships now. Doesn't mean it's great. We were on the Wonder in December :)

Restroom work in Club/Lab Disney Magic

I still wouldn't let it ruin my trip. There are plenty of other things to be doing.

Restroom work in Club/Lab Disney Magic

The Aus/NZ cruises are fully booked out with max children. It's more to do with how kiwis and aussies have been using the club on these shorter cruises (most are 2-4 nights with a few 5 and a couple of 6 nighters). Parents have wanted to do more open houses with their kids.

Restroom work in Club/Lab Disney Magic

On our down under cruise only one side of the kids club/lab was open at a time. Usually the lab was open with the club closed off for open houses (this seems to be something specific to these cruises though). So I wouldn't worry about only one side being available at a time, kids still make the...

    Debarkation Day Buffet Breakfast

we are also a Cabanas for disembarkation family. We get up early on the last morning anyway to watch the sunrise and to come into port so we grab breakfast once Cabanas opens and we still have time to grab our stuff from our room by 8am.

DCL Onboard Restricted Items Policy Updates: Decorations, Ducks and Ashes and More

Taking them on board isn't the issue, it seems the hiding is the issue.

DCL Onboard Restricted Items Policy Updates: Decorations, Ducks and Ashes and More

I don't mind if they go. One thing I wish they enforced was magnets that extend beyond the doorway. I love the door magnets, I dislike the wall magnets.

    Sail-A-Wave

I do like deck 4, promenade and deck 10 (not during party/shows) on wonder is where we hung as it usually was away from people lol. We may grab a drink and just hang there :D thanks

    Sail-A-Wave

Does anyone else not go to the Sail-A-Wave party? What do you do instead? We went on our first cruise and by the time we got from muster with 3 kids there wasn't anywhere to view from, I'm thinking of doing something different next time to avoid that part. We went straight from muster to...

DCL Onboard Restricted Items Policy Updates: Decorations, Ducks and Ashes and More

it is one of those things where you get different information depending who you speak to. We also had someone call in our group and they were told the opposite. Ducks are allowed on board but you aren't allowed to hide them.

    Door Magnet Brands?

neodymium magnets are the best ones - small and strong. Just check sizing as some are teeny.

    Wonder Down Under

I think they headed off around 5.45pm but not 100% sure. This was chaos - I saw photos, people with 12.30PAT's were still in the line to check in after 2pm. People were dropping bags and just joining the line since there wasn't any sort of seperation of the area. It did make me plan for a...

    Wonder Down Under

Some of the food and drink changes are to do with certain ingredients (gmo) not being allowed in Australia and NZ - this was what the advice was. Alcohol also had to do with some australian laws, drinks machine needed some adjustments to handle the syrups for soda since they are different...

    Wonder Down Under

Apparently not Mickey bars for rest of season but it is likely the container that has the towel animal plush toys. I had heard it was meant to be there for the first sailing but didn't arrive in time and is held up somewhere. Unfortunately doesn't seem like it was in time for the NZ sailings.

    Wonder Down Under

Take your own. They have the plain buckets (so the printed ones with christmas etc) but I don't know how long those will last. My cruise is from NZ, I'm expecting to be saving money on board with the things being sold out lol.

    Wonder Down Under

Last update is they are now out of themed popcorn buckets too

    Wonder Down Under

I know a few friends with food allergies have had issues on these cruises and they've not had it on previous cruises. It's been a bit disappointing from that front.
