The 1984 Olympics, an equestrian jumping event that the US won so got to listen to the national anthem at the end. I was pregnant and wore a shirt that said "future Olympian". :) ( No, she did not become an Olympian. :blush:)

I feel no shame in setting off our fireworks. We have .8 of an acre which is the smallest lot. We live in the desert so most of the yard is landscape rock as are our neighbors. We spent an hour setting them off before the city fireworks started.

A family of 5 in a pickup truck with a camper shell from Southern California to New Jersey to visit grandparents, camping all the way.

Walked 10 miles in the snow uphill both ways..........Nah, walked in elementary and car pooled in high school.

Some campgrounds are hard sided only but they do have campgrounds that you can use tents. I've camped in a tent trailer in all three parks. I also have a fear of bears so I sleep better in my hard sided trailer now. :upsidedow

Only 4 days left! Have the suitcases semi packed. Getting harder to fall asleep. :yay:
