    I know, I know....Tony's is awful. BUT....

We went with a party of 10 for my daughter's 16th birthday and everyone really liked it, and there were several picky eaters among us. The service was great and I thought it was nice inside. I do love Lady and the Tramp:)

    Garden grille

We love it! My children are older teenagers now and they still count this as one of their favorites. I'm currently trying to move things around for August trip so we can fit it in.

The Everything Victoria & Albert's Thread

True:) I was thinking more about what the people on the monorail would think...but I guess it really doesn't matter, so one less worry for me! :)

The Everything Victoria & Albert's Thread

We are going to be dining here for the first time in August. My husband is pretty much squared away...but I'm very curious about how dressy the dress needs to be for females? I was planning on wearing what I thought was a nice dress with strappy black heels. But it is no where close to formal...

    The Wave- how is it?

I'm really glad to read all the positive reviews. My husband and I are going in July for a 2nd honeymoon (1st trip there without kids) and we have decided on The Wave.

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace?

IMO, CP is the best. We love it there and make it a point to have breakfast there once each trip.

    Trying to book ADRs

Did you put in your resort reservation number? That allows them to see that you are a resort guest so that you can make your reservations 180 + 10 out. Hope that helps

    WDW in August? How bad?

With a chance of free dining being offered mid-August, is it a possibility that it may lower crowds a bit, the beginning of August? We are going Aug3-Aug10. I know it'll be hot and crowded, but dh will be home for R&R then, so our dates are pretty firm. We are from the south, so although I...

We survived a week at Disney with diabetes!

I am finding this all very interesting. This will be our first trip since ds was diagnosed with T1. He normally does really well and the pump makes everything so much easier, but I am a bit concerned about the heat. He doesn't do so well diabetes wise with the heat. He's 13, so I hope he'll be...

Pre-Paying for luau and Castle meals

Thanks for the info. I will be making our reservations the beginning of Feb. and I want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row. :tinker:

Pre-Paying for luau and Castle meals

We haven't gone to DW since 2007 and at that time if you had the dining plan you did not have to pre-pay for these although we still had to give a cc# for guarantee. Is it the same way now? or do you pre-pay and get refunded when you use the dining plan credits? Thank you, Denise

    Tipping at buffets

We tip the same at buffets as we do regular table service. Our normal is 20%, but there are many times, when we'll go over that.

    Garden Grill - what's up?

We really enjoy it. It's a must do each trip for us :) We've been the "family of the day" before and it was really great. They really make you feel special :) but even when we weren't, we still had a wonderful time. We all qualify as adults, but they still bring out the kids plate as well, since...

Do you tip "mousekeeping" at WDW hotels?

We leave $5 a day in a cute little Disney envelope that we make before our trip. We've always had a nice clean room with plenty of towels and toiletries. I am a bit paranoid about them not thinking we're icky, so I always neaten up any mess we may have made getting ready for the day.
