We have stayed at SSR 3 times and always requested (and received) the Congress Park area. You have a great view of DD and it is not an unreasonable walk to the main pool. We have never had to stand on a bus even at Thanksgiving. I don't recall about the Springs...sorry.
My two DS love it. We have to see the show multiple times on each trip. Now they are 12 and 9 but have been seeing the show since they were 6 and 3. They focus more on the stink bug that the scary part.
We have to split our Nov trip between these two resorts due to availability. Has anyone taken a cab from AKL to SSR? I understand this is a quicker way to make a switch if you don't have a car than relying on a CM to move your luggage. How far is it and approximate cost? Thanks.
On a split stay how does Disney handle the cold items in the refrigerator during the holding day of the move? We have our first split stay in November due to availability and are nervous about it.
I checked availablity for those dates and a studio at BCV is not available. They have a studio at SSR and OKW for those nights. Let me know if you are interested.

My family's favorites are:
Canada - be sure to order the cheese soup - This was my kids favorite restaurant. :cool1:
Italy - my favorite before the table service restaurant closed:confused3 Going to miss this one. Hope they open a comparable restaurant before next year...

My home resort is also SSR but we are planning on staying at OKW again. The units are more spacious even though they are a little older. The space is important to us as we usually travel with grandparents, parents and kids in the same unit. OKW also seems to be more relaxed and quiter that...
As you can tell there are sooo many different opinions. If it is your first trip I would concentrate on MK but if you do decide to do another park, Epcot would be my second chioce especially with the age of your kids. They would love Future World. Suprisingly my two boys (ages 9 and 6) wanted...
