    Best Resort for Teenagers

When my son was younger, we would visit Disney every year and we always stayed at Pop Century. Unfortunately, it's been many years since we visited the happiest place on Earth. We are currently planning a trip for the first week in August. Yes, I know it's probably one of the hottest and busiest...

    Infants at the movies

I'm generally okay with people bringing babies to the movies, as long as the parent is considerate. And by considerate, I mean, if the baby gets fussy or starts crying, take him/her out of the theater. Not to the back of the theater, where I am sitting.

    Calling All Creative DISers!!!

Help!!! I desperately need ideas for a Valentine's party. Our school usually gives us 30 min. at the end of the day to pass out valentines and maybe a treat. However, this year, the kids are going to have a party. (Partly because the kids missed out on their Christmas party when the...

    Would this bother you?

Thank you. It's exactly how I felt. It wasn't the money, it was the message that bothered me.

    Would this bother you?

Thanks for all the positive feedback! I hadn't even thought about that. I would hope she would give the stuff to others, and not sell the stuff. And you're right, the gifts were without strings. And I would not let it ruin a friendship. I guess I was just reflecting on this situation...

    Would this bother you?

I'm not going to let $50 ruin a friendship. But I agree with you about who I give things to. Now I give to other friends, local charities, and our school.

    Would this bother you?

Agree. However, she was not trying to sell the table to anyone else. It had just been taking up space in her basemant. And yes, I was getting rid of DS's stuff, but I would never have charged a friend. Never charged when we gave the swing set, the bike or the Fort/playhouse.

    Would this bother you?

It has changed one time she got it free, one time she paid for it.

    Would this bother you?

Maybe. However, her DH makes good money at the power plant, she works for the schools. They told me this summer that except for the mortgage, they are completely debt-free, and they paid cash for their new vechicle. Oh, by the way, my DH is military, I'm a SAHM.

    Would this bother you?

Would it bother you if someone you gave stuff to all the time charged you for stuff? Here's the back story. I always give my best friend all of my son's outgrown clothes, uniforms, shoes, books, computer software, sports equipment, etc. I'm not talking about one or two items. I mean 2-3...

"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

Yep, Andy and Portia are related to Bill. But I don't think that has anything to do with his "immunity" from Maryann. After all, vampirism isn't hereditary. I do believe his alcohol level has something to do with it.;)
