I agree that it is ridiculous, but I don't fume about it. We find something else to do to enjoy the ship. Personally, I don't find sitting around a crowed Goofy or Mickey Pool enjoyable. We were also one of the few that were off the ship early on CC and probably the 2nd group on the far end...

It would be interesting to hear what a CM's reaction would be to this request. With respect to the stalking, you must have missed Andrew's post where his son vacated their hammock for about 30 seconds and a lady hopped right in. The posts in this thread varied the "acceptable" amount of time...

We got off the ship first thing and hauled butt to the the furthest part of the beach. We get how it works in the world of Disney, you snooze you lose. I understand that if I don't get the the Goofy pool before 10:30 am (at least) on an At Sea day, then I'm SOL. But you know, I'm not bitter...

With all due respect, I don't agree with you. What is the point of going to CC and not being able to take advantage of swimming, biking or snorkeling (or eating apparently) if you have to worry about someone taking over your lounge chairs.

We always walk from MK to the Contemporary. When you exit the park just hang a left and the walkway is to the left of the buses and it is clearly marked. You will be walking to the right of the monorail track. If it is the evening, it shouldn't be too hot so you should be ok.:thumbsup2

I bought DH new dress shirts for the cruise and sent them out for pressing...for quick ironing out of wrinkles, I used the iron in the laundry room and it was fine...

We stayed onboard during our Grand Cayman day...it was great...we hung out by the family pool for a bit until DD went to the club and then DH and I then went to the Quiet Cove pool...ship was empty...it was great.
