    ***** December 2019 *****

I would avoid MK at all costs in Christmas Day. The rest of the parks are fine that day and you do not need to worry about doing rope drop for those.

Free Dining has thrown me into a bit of dispair....

I also thrive on the anticipation of the discount hunt specifically for free dining. We always go in December. We always snag FD. This year the tables have turned and as much I know that the chances for Dec FD are slim to none, I still cannot help, but pray to the Disney Gods to let me...

    ***** December 2019 *****

Me too!!! And I am not sure if I am excited for NYE at Disney because of the crowds, but since this will be our first time there for NYE (6th time for Christmas there so we are pros at that lol) it is definitely something new to look forward to! Oh and I am curiously looking forward to...

If you could go to WDW any time of the year...

We live in the Bahamas. We also do not go between May and October due to the heat. Our favorite month to go is December. This year will be our 6th Christmas in the World.

    Which meal for BOG?

Even though you have the dining plan, are you sure you want to use your credits on 'expensive Cheerios' as you put it? Not sure about BOG, but can you pay out of pocket for the cereal and save that dining credit?

    Which meal for BOG?

We've never had breakfast there. We have had dinner there a few times (before they changed the menu etc) and lunch as well. If I had to choose, I'd pick lunch there every time.

    LTT - just desserts?

Yes I figured to make it a 'late' lunch reservation maybe 2 or 3 pm, depending how late they serve lunch.

    LTT - just desserts?

I love the desserts at Liberty Tree Tavern. Would it be odd to have an ADR there just to order desserts?

    Best cupcakes in parks

My alltime favorite was the Chocolate Cappuccino Toffee one from Starring Rolls. I am still searching for that one, hoping it miraculously makes a comeback somewhere else in Disney. By the way, 5 years ago Disney emailed me the recipe for this one so if anyone is interested, just let me know!

Daughters 1st trip to Disney staying in AOA LM room

We love everything about AoA. The LM rooms are not as far as some make them out to be. The foodcourt is amazing. The close proximity to Pop is an added bonus...another arcade, gift shop, food court and bus stop for your use.

    Suggestions for NYE this year?

Oh, the gondola is a great idea! I totally forgot about that option.

    Suggestions for NYE this year?

I considered Epcot as a park to do, but I have a fear the fireworks will just be extremely loud for my two toddlers. The late night, crowds and transportation waits are less of a big deal. We are used to those.

    Suggestions for NYE this year?

We will be at Disney for Christmas and New Year's Eve this year. We have been to Disney 9 times already. This will be our 6th Christmas there. We have never been there for NYE though. We will be staying at AoA with four kids (two teenagers and two toddlers). I'm really trying to get some...

    Boatwright's suggestions

I love the prime rib there! My only complaint is that they took my favorite dessert off of the menu. It was some sort of bread pudding with rum raisin ice cream and it was so good.

    ****December 2020 Thread****

Nice! We love the value resorts! We will be at AoA this year. My oldest two kids are just a bit older than yours - 15 and 12 year olds.

    Surprise Upgrades?

One year, checking into AoA Little Mermaid standard room with FD, I was told our room was not ready yet. I said 'no problem'. The CM said he could text us when room was ready. I said ok. Then he tells me to hold on a minute, walks away and when he comes back he asks how I would feel about a...
