You could get those cards that are made already and you just slide the pic inside it. That way you can have them all filled out and ready to be mailed. Take the pic and get them devloped at walmart and slip the pic in and mail. Also it will save time.

If it's like the other special events you buy a seprate ticket which is less than a days addmission and it usally runs 7pm to 12 am but you can get in at 4pm. you get full access to the park. there may be a few rides not open but nothing major.
