We did the Paradise Village excursion through DCL in Puerto Vallarta and LOVED it!!! We'd even go back and stay at the resort on our own. The beach was beautiful, they provided boogie boards, etc., everything (food, activities, drinks/cocktails/beer) is included, we had great service everywhere...

For peace of mind, I'd double check on the 16 year old - most of what I've read says anyone under 16 crowd can travel on a certified birth certificate (no photo ID), but 16 and over need photo ID and a birth certificate.

Congrats!! I love deck 5 - it is the same floor as all the kids clubs, which is great when you are done for the evening and picking up the kiddos!!

I was going to say they did when we did our original reservation, but now I don't think that they ever did ask...I might be confusing DCL with one of the other cruiselines - I think they just seem to know somehow, LOL. It's magic! But seriously, I think you could call and ask, and if you need it...
