Need your opinion to Genie+ or not to Genie+

We have not been to the World in a few years (pre-Covid). I think I have a pretty good idea of managing Genie, but the question for me is do we really need it? Going for just a few days with another couple. Probably going to hit all the parks once. Would love to get on some of the rides that...

    Is it just me?

In all my travels to the World, I rarely complain about the bus service. I realize this is a very busy time (President's weekend) , but I can honestly say I have never waited for buses as long as this trip. The average wait for a bus from/to any of the parks had to be nearly 30 minutes. We...

People Never Cease to Amaze Me

Went to La Hacienda for dinner and to watch fireworks. Asked for a table near the window and got the obligatory "we'll try but can't guarantee." No problem, sometimes we get our request and sometimes we don't. This time we didn't. A couple got seated behind us and the man immediately started...

    AKL or BC? Please HELP!!!

Have stayed at AKL twice. Never BC, but have been at BW, so close enough for my point. I had no complaints with buses at AKL. Will say the view was more interesting the first time. A little less the second time. Love the proximity between BC, Epcot and DHS. Really prefer that location. If your...

APs and Resort guests can now upgrade their magicband

Apparently it depends on what CM you get. I got two different numbers to call and they both gave me the sorry, nothing we can do answer. Typical Disney, offer something that has no real value. This time it's because they can't fulfill the offer.

APs and Resort guests can now upgrade their magicband

Been trying for weeks with no luck. Finally, I sent an e-mail and got the "we will contact you as soon as possible" reply. Waited a week and nothing, so called the number. A nice CM switched me to another CM and I ended up getting dumped onto an auto-answer line that asked me for my e-mail...

    WCC vs Trail's End??

The one time we ate at WCC was after the antics had been tones down. Food was unimpressive. Trails End is currently on our must do every trip list.

    WWYD? Date night at Disney

Dinner at Yachtsman and an after dark walk around World Showcase with a stop at France for dessert. It's a pleasant walk to just unwind.

    Is Navi Worth My Time?

It's a decent ride if you haven't ridden it before or if there is no line, otherwise I'd pass. As I heard someone say, it like POC, but without a story.

    Tusker House Breakfast Buffet.....

I'll echo what others have said. Whether or not it's worth it is an individual decision. It depends on how you feel about the cost of WDW meals in general. It's a nice breakfast. We did it last trip after not going there for several years (for no particular reason). Enjoyed it very much. Is it...

best and worse meal of your last trip to WDW?

let me start by saying thanks for opening this thread. People's opinions on dining at is always interesting. As you can see from the posts, the only thing consistent about dining in wdw is its inconsistency. So, our last trip: Best - Boma, hands down. It was our first time there and we cannot...

    WORST DISNEY DINING EXPERIENCE

I once read (and repeated many times) the only thing consistent about dining in WDW is it's inconsistency. Almost every place we love is mentioned here as bad. We have had good and bad experiences at the same restaurant. Had terrible service and food at Tony's and didn't go back for several...

    Animal Kingdom dining

We went back to TH last trip after not having been there in a while. Still as good as we remember. Seated right away and got a nice juice blend right away. We enjoy the characters, but not a necessity for us. We like it, but it's just breakfast, how bad can you screw that up? As a pp said food...

    Celebration button

I have no suggestion, but want to say congratulations on your remission. DW and I have lost 3 of our 4 parents to cancer. I am truly happy for you, even though I don't know you. Have a great trip and enjoy every day!!

    Dumbo and Tomorrowland Speedway...a rant...

Tomorrowland speedway is one of the most disappointing rides in all WDW. I agree with pp, we were happy when kids outgrew it. Even so, it was never a ride they wanted to wait to get on. Any major rehab in tomorrowland should include replacing speedway with something more interesting/exciting.
