How long can I keep our resort a surprise?

2013 trip, my dw and dd thought we were staying at POR. I had secretly booked WL. I thought I was going to get busted at the MK parking gate. I told the CM that we had reservations at "The Lodge". Thought, "OK, the surprise was nice while it lasted." Much to my surprise, my family didn't...

    Anyone flown into Sanford Airport?

Our family has flown Allegiant one time into Sanford. Would not hesitate to do it again. Direct flight Is a nice bonus and Sanford is a lot less hassle compared to Orlando's airport. I agree with pp, renting a car is the way to go. Not a bad drive to WDW at all.

Here now - MK is packed

I'll use my favorite topic as an example: rush hour traffic. Love it, love it, love it, since I am such a patient person-- NOT! Say i'm at a standstill, stuck in traffic and I'm in a lane and there is another lane merging into mine. If three cars in my lane go and then one car from the other...

What year did you first go to Disney? (Land, World or whatever)

It's the "little things"... what's yours?

For me, it was my DD's first trip and last trip. First trip, she was 9 and I don't know how to fully explain it, but we'd just be walking through MK and without warning, she'd jump up in the air, spin completely around before landing, while making this musical sound to no song I've ever heard...

    WL... possible buyers remores

We stayed at WL for first time last June. Had never stayed at a deluxe. I, like you, was second guessing myself regarding the money spent. Let me just tell you, that after staying there I have absolutely zero regrets. My family could have stayed at the lodge, never set foot in a park, and we...

    The silent protest in Boston

They do still show up, at least they did when I was in Asheville, NC, last summer.

    The silent protest in Boston

As PP said, it is not attention they want per say. They know what hot buttons to push and they hope to provoke you to do something/anything they might sue you over. It's all about money. From what I understand, the group is made up mostly of an extended family, and surprise, surprise-- a...

Another vote for Diane Lane, aging very well. I would do yard work free for her.

hat for a very fat head

My wife is a kindergarten teacher. One day I walked into her class and this little boy, whom I'd never seen, stares at me for a few seconds, and says, and I quote: "Man, you've got a big head!" After sharing that pearl of wisdom, he got back to his assignment. Gotta love kids just being honest.

    Spinoff: Gene Hackman's best role

Coach Norman Dale in Hoosiers. Dennis Hopper was good in that movie, too. Great flick.

    TH Nemo Meal

Thanks for the info, I will call and cancel ADR, since the priority seating was only reason we were going with a buffet at lunch. On the bright side, we should be a little "lighter" in our shoes now!
