    DUTCH WONDERLAND or HERSHEYPARK?

Definitely Dutch Wonderland if you are doing just one park. There used to be a MacIntosh not far from there where we stayed a few years back. It is perfect for young kids. They have a discount combo if you do Hershey and Dutch Wonderland, maybe an option so the grownups can have a little fun...

DVC is getting out of controle with point increases

Well for us it has allowed us to extend out trip a night or two. We usually only went on Sun-Thursday because weekend points seemed so high. Now we are not afraid to stay an extra night. We realize it all works outt he same, but I guess there is a pschyological component to it. I would consider...

    Points Transfer Process Question

Just completed a transfer this weekend. I took 50% thru paypal, made the transfer then once they confirmed reciepts of points, the final payment thru paypal was made. All in the same day, no three way call. I guess there needs to be some level of trust by both parties. Worked for me.

    Question about switching resorts mid-trip

Just let bell services know, there is no fee. Of course tipping is expected. It was very easy for use. Our bags were in our room and groceries as well when we arrived back from the parks. We were missing one bag, but even a 10pm they were able to search and locate it and bring it to our room...

    Orlando attractions with small kids?

I am not sure Universal is great for small kids. Lots of height restricitions and scary theming. You may want to wait a few years to really enjoy it.

Driving to Disney after years of flying?

I don't think it as cheap as people think, especially with the rising gas prices. When you factor everything else in, for us driving doesn't make sense.

Trip Planning and Looking for Suggestions?

IF you only plan on seeing Diney, stay onsite. Can't beat the convenience. But if would like to rent a car, there are great Marriot Timeshares available, villas with kitchen of unbeleivable rates($134) per night. It is centrally located to Disney and Universal and SW. Just a thought.

    Making Disney a Yearly Destination

You may want to try renting points once thru a DVC member to see if it is for you. It also is a good way to stay at top resorts for the rates of a moderate. I think once you try it, you will never look back

    Waterparks worth it?

Well, the pool will likely be mobbed. The ages of your kids will determine the value of the waterparks to you. If your youngest is three then you may as well enjoy the pool. It will be challenging at a waterpark with different age children. The only downside to the pool is the waterslide has a...

    Keeping Hydrated in August

We were there the last week of August last year, I we all thought it was totally bearable by Florida standards. We have been there during heatwaves in June the eyar before, and this was awesome. (Although maybe not typical, don't know) Maybe the low crowds is a factor.....
