The Official 2013 Wine and Dine Half Marathon Thread

Well. The good news is that there wasn't anything in the email that was personalized. They didn't provide a way to look up your bib number. They stated several times that numbers would be provided at packet pick up. From what I could tell all the info in the email is also now on the wine and...

Calling all Princesses! (2014 Princess half marathon board)

Hi All So to respond to the question about increases, I think I am in a good place to give feedback. I am running the Disneyland Half Marathon Sept 1 as my first half. I'm at the end of the Galloway training. In Saturday I ran 12.5 miles. In two weeks I will run 14 miles and two weeks later...

    Running with GoPro HD Camera

Will look for review, example, & report so I can see if this is something I might like to do myself. I was just discussing this as a possibility yesterday with someone, so I can document the events I run for my family and self. :thumbsup2

How does one submit their 10K time for wine and dine? Sorry if that was posted already but this is a really long thread and I am guessing finding the answer would be difficult. :-)

Just ran a 5K. 9.41 minutes per mile. Slowed down a little at the end to help a friend finish. I am very happy with my time. My legs now refuse to move for an hour or so. Need to figure out what my goal time should be for W&D.

LOL. I thought it was some sort of Disney promotion and was worrying that WDW was going to be packed shoulder to shoulder with people trying to take advantage of the promotion. Silly me. :joker:

Stayed at The Swan last October and it was a disaster. Room and bath old and not clean, humidity issues causing windows to fog in room, halls, and lobby. Got there and room key machine was broken. Do Not recommend Swan for folks used to Deluxes.

http://www.rundisney.com/training/running/ Go to Wine and Dine Go to Beginner Runners, that's the plan I am using. Review: This plan is good. Reasonable expectations, achievable goals, simple and straightforward advice from an expert (Jeff Galloway); and to top it off, it's free...
