Hey all - if anyone is still around can someone email me the most recent FE list? I've been working hard and off the board for a couple of weeks!

Hi all - haven't posted in a while - got suspended from the boards for a week. I wont explain why as that will prbably get me booted again. :) Had my first cruise dream last night. Interestingly, it was almost exacly the same as the only cruise dream I had before my first cruise. Suddenly...

    Noisy cabin neighbors

Took the words right out of my mouth...unless you KNOW the person next door, I would have thought banging on walls was reserved for rude or inconsiderate behavior. Snoring...? Can't really help it, can they?:confused3

And we'll be right down the hall too in our Cat 9 :cool1: brucechase - I have the opposite issue from you. we are now in a connecting room, and have no wish to connect. i've heard it can make for sad times if you end up with noisy connecting room neighbors. wonder if they would switch us...

    Is my FE too wide?

Does this make my ____ look big? :lmao: Your door opens inward, so unless your proposed FE sticks way out into the hallway, you should be fine.

    list of "don't bring"-s (things I *thought* I couldn't do without!)

I did not use or miss: Over the door shoe holder Duct tape (???) Flashlight or nightlight Highlighters Lanyards Extension cord Hairdryer (c'mon - one step outside and whatever you've done is undone anyways!) I would have been sad without: Reading material (the Cove Cafe...

We're also in a GTY 12 - I think I mentioned before that this little trip is an add on to a work training, so we were just happy to be able to hop onboard. Where did you see we were sold out? I checked online and everything from Cat 12 through Cat 4 is still available. :confused3 Would be...

    Outlook Bar

I didn't even notice it on our cruise last spring, so I can only assume it wasn't open very often? The adult bar right by the pool wasn't very crowded either. I wondered how the poor bartender managed to make any money. :confused3

OK for children to wear shorts at dinner???

Your girls can wear whatever they want. I'll be all on my lonesome at the adult pool while you're all fighting over chairs at the Mickey Pool. Now, brucechase, if YOU come strolling up in teal pants and a bedazzled tube top...free drinks on me all cruise long! :lmao: [EDIT: I meant I...

So - is anyone up for having an evening grown-ups cruise meet one night? Some of the adult comedy/variety shows are great and they usually follow with dancing. But I'm not really one to dance if I don't know anyone else there...:sad1: I would also be down for a quick meet the first...

OK for children to wear shorts at dinner???

    1. I am on brucechase's cruise and WATCH OUT! I AM DEFINITELY COMING OVER TO POINT AND SNICKER! ;) 2. I am a rule follower, so sometimes it does bug me when other people don't follow rules. But clothing doesn't bug me so much. Except for the lady on my last cruise who wore her very small...

Sunday night, the 19th, we head right to training over by Downtown Disney and have to dress biz for the next three days. So I'd be packing dressy even if we were on a nudist cruise. (Now, THAT'S tmi! :lmao: )

OK, obviously no kids here, but I will tell you what I saw on my cruise. I don't remember seeing anyone in shorts at any dinner - with the exception of pirate night. pirate: On that night a lot of us were in capris or cargo shorts with white shirts and pirate gear. Sort of a - "I don't have...

Yup, that would be Baltimore. Though I have been told it's really Balmer and I'm saying it wrong. ;) Took me a while to get used to the kid at the pet store calling me sweetie, and the woman at the coffee shop calling me hon. We're just not that friendly where I'm from in Boston. :lmao:

OK for children to wear shorts at dinner???

I agree with the previous poster - it's COLD in those dining rooms. Pack pants for them - you'll be glad you did.

Deep breaths and repeat after me... oooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. :hippie: Not sure how many of you are first timers, but if you read all those advice posts, the ONE suggestion you will see over and over again is to RELAX. You got a fish extender? Great! You...

    $$$ for FE gifts???

We gave ornaments/keychains related to one of our ports, which ran about $4 each. I agree with the PPs - do whatever is within your budget and whatever YOUR time allows. One of the best gifts we received was mini-candybars and gum! YUM!
