allright, another MSU fan onboard. Go Spartans! Looks like our cruise is at a busy time in the area....there's a Space shuttle launch still scheduled for Feb 12 and of course Sunday the 15th is the Daytona 500...I am not looking forward to the drive north on I-95 on Sunday morning...

So this weekend I booked the Feb. 12 3-night Wonder cruise (with Valentine's Day on CC, can I get away with no flowers??), and then later realized that the cruise is leaving in the middle of speedweek and returning the day of the Daytona 500. Furthermore, there is a shuttle launch currently...

They are making the rounds, no need to call. We had to wait about 5 minutes...just like at the airport there's a special area signed off to wait at. Carnival was disembarking too so we had to swing by their terminal too...nobody got on and it was straight to the car lot.

There was no drop fee either way which was very nice, so the total price was no different than it would have been for a return to the same location. Check around for the best rates!

We rented from Hertz at JAX and dropped at Canaveral, then reverse after the cruise. Less than a 5 minute wait both ways for the shuttle.

Yes, yes, yes. No omelettes, but it was still better than most hotel continental breakfasts.

It'll just be the two of us (since that's all there is, for now...). Will be my first cruise ever, and her first since she was pretty small. I'd go crazy if I had much more time that we already do to anticipate the trip. Booked the cruise last week, found a good deal on airline...

Wow, I just booked our reservation for this trip last week. I'm impressed at how long some of you have been planning! Good to see another displaced Spartan is on the trip!
