Counting down to my first DCA vacation, August 23-28. I am a WDW vet and DVC'er that has moved west. Meeting my bestie from MI for a girls only trip to celebrate my 55th b-day. We'll be staying at GC with points as VGC had no availability. Can't wait - I have never been further west than Vegas!

For those inquiring about getting back to you resort....Disney transportation runs until after DD closes. After park hours, take the resort bus going to DD and then transfer to your resort bus. Any bus driver can help you if you're not sure.

It sounds like you're staying onsite starting Saturday. Maybe your husband could stay near the airport on Friday - most have a free shuttle to/from airport. He could meet you and the family at the airport on Saturday and the whole family could do ME and get dropped off at your WDW hotel - bags...
