The Wilderness Lodge and Villas FAQ (Part 7) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY!

The amount of obstruction depends on the height of the trees diresctly across from your room. Like I said, rm 7042 had a completely unobstructed view of the castle. I was in HEAVEN! Total dream come true.

How would you respond to this??

I also love all theme parks, and get season passes to the Six Flags near me, and am especially fond of roller coasters. But, NOTHING beats the magic of Disney! Six Flags is good for day trips and rides, but is in a totally different category all together.

    Question about ride swap??

When you approach the ride and tell the CM you want to do the child swap, they will give you a rider switch fast pass, which is good for up to 3 people. SO, if you have a fast pass for the first person, you could essentially all be going through the fast pass line.

The Wilderness Lodge and Villas FAQ (Part 7) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY!

I don't have any information on the number either, but I will say that I just returned from WL, stayed CL, and had requested a woods view, MK view. We stayed in rm 7042 and were pleasantly surprised to find bunk beds. We also had a wonderful view of the castle (could see almost the whole...

    When it rains....tips needed

We'll be there next week too! We've been when it has rained before, and usually it's not a "great deluge" like last year. My friend was down for that also. A stroller cover is a must, IMO. You can fold it back so its just covering the top for when its not downpouring. You can keep it...

    Flying w/ children HELP

We leave in a few days, and here's what we're doing: DS (4.5) will just sit with the lap belt, we will gate check his booster (just bringing the bottom part). DD (3) will sit in her carseat. We are renting a car, and will need their carseats in FL, and I think DD will actually fall...

Going to Disney World Orlando first time, please advice

When you get the water parks n more option, you get (generally) the same number of "extra admissions" as park days. These are good for the water parks, disney quest, and the 9-hole golf course. For instance I'm getting 5 day passes with water parks & more option. We're spending 5 days in...

Going to Disney World Orlando first time, please advice

Hi! We are also from MA, flying out of Providence 4/19 and staying until the 29th, and we are also staying off property. I highly recommend the Unofficial Guide to WDW as well. We each are drawn to a particular guidebook, and use it as a "Disney Bible" so to speak. The touring plans in...

    Need a tip - Place for R&R

Another suggestion for MK is the train. (That loops around the park) DH, DS & DD all slept on it. We went around and around for over an hour. There were other families napping too and the conductors even whispered their instructions, which I though was neat.

To Stroller or Not To Stroller

On our last trip we used the buses with a double jogging stroller and found that it was worth the extra hassle getting on & off the buses to have it in the park. I did NOT think it was a hassle to push in the parks, through crowds and such. Also with the double stroller, one parent can...

Post pics of your bag you carry into park

geishagirl81 - what we have always done is have the baby stuff in the diaper bag and leave that in the stroller, but camera, tickets, at least 1 water bottle, some wipes, one diaper (when my kids were wearing them), and small essentials in a smaller bag that we carry on the rides, etc., and we...
