Resort Class Could = Fast Pass

You are muddying the waters. That's not what I'm talking about. I know there are different pricing structures. Everybody knows that. That's not what this is about. I have an annual pass. I can go in any day I want (I paid for that privilege), but it doesn't give me better access once I'm in...

Resort Class Could = Fast Pass

You're talking about people being able to afford more than others. But in this case two people spend the same amount of money to get into the park, but one is getting more - more FPs, less time in line, more rides. At least in your example you got more if you paid more. That's the way it is in...

Resort Class Could = Fast Pass

How so? The concept of giving certain guests better access to rides when all guests are paying the same amount to get into the park I think is wrong. Right now everyone has the same chance of getting on Splash Mountain during the regular park hours that they paid for. This would change that.

Resort Class Could = Fast Pass

In his latest article, Jim Hill also writes that this practice has in part already begun! I've heard Al Weiss talk about this, talk about how you could basically have your entire day planned moment-by-moment before you enter the park. "It's 2:26pm, this must be Big Thunder Mountain." I...

    Tarzan Show

Yes, they are across the new bridge from each other. We walked it and it's not far. Tarzan is very loud from Flame Tree so I suspect you could hear it in parts of EE anyway.

    Future Attractions Coming?

Agreed. And if you look at the original sketches for D-MGM (in the Imagineers book) it had two stunt shows. AK has two big musicals. Universal Hollywood always had two stunt shows (Western and Miami Vice/Waterworld - hey, it's been a long time since I've been).

    Future Attractions Coming?

<faints> This would be amazing, using Test Track or Indy technology or something better. My understanding is that MGM would not give Disney the rights to Bond, James Bond when they struck the deal for the studio back in the late 80s. However, with MGM being bought by SONY, who knows.

    Tarzan Show

LOL! I can hardly wait for the musical number set in the dentist's office.

    Tarzan Show

I wonder if the timing has something to do with the opening of Everest. Tarzan is very loud and perhaps they felt it could be heard on Everest. Whatever they get, I hope it's quieter.

    Some rumors

Right. Clones are just a fact of life in business and without the economies of scale we would not see many of the attractions we enjoy today. I hate to think that they didn't put Splash Mtn. into WDW because they didn't think guests would want a clone. Most people would not make it out to...

    Some rumors

Aquatopia from TDS is a fun family ride. I've read mixed reviews of it, but I liked it, especially at night. I'm not sure how it is generally received. The only things at WDSP are theatre shows like Cinemagique and Animagique. Don't see much there.

The Canadian Film at Epcot - Star agrees with many here.

I was looking at a picture from 1986 and the mountain was much more white/grey. Probably dirt has turned it brown. Maybe they could sandblast it or something. It is supposed to represent Canada's ruggedness and not the Rockies per se according to CMs.

Walking distance of GF spa from Poly?

It's about a ten minute walk along a sidewalk. Of course, it depends on where in the Poly you are starting from. I'm counting from about the Ceremonial House to the entrance to the spa.

Questions for those who've been to the Poly recently...

-When you check in, do they give out leis? Yes -how was mousekeeping? towel animals? We didn't get any. -frig in room? No when we were there in mid-April. -Is there a cofeemaker in the room? Yes, strangely it is in the bathroom! -What kind of coffee in the room? Did they...

    OT- Digital Cable or Satellite?

New releases at my Blockbuster are $5.19 and with all the coupons I end up getting my average cost per movie is $3.33. How much is Blockbuster in Mississauga?

OT: Krispy Kreme has closed in Kitchener

I shop at the Loblaws next to the ex-Krispy Kreme in London. I wondered why I didn't smell doughnuts on my last visit. I did drive by today and saw that Krispy Kreme's windows were covered. I never actually went there - planned to just never made it. I guess those low-carb diets killed it...

    Future Attractions Coming?

I believe that CTX and Indy are the same track and movements. Certainly the opening and ending are identical. As for the Indy ride in Paris, it gets my vote for worst coaster ever. It was so bad they changed it to backwards - and yet it's worse backwards than it was forwards. It's just...

Attractions list for Hong Kong Disneyland.

Agreed. I think too that the financial model for EPCOT may be "somewhat unique." For example, the restaurants and shops in World Showcase are run by other companies and Disney collects royalties and/or rent. How much captial outlay has Disney put into World Showcase? None that I can see. It's...

Attractions list for Hong Kong Disneyland.

The Hong Kong government put up most of the money. If the park tanks, will they put up more money to make it successful? I assume they already have a plan for this contingency. We can't accurately anticipate guest reaction. I hope they like it - I hope they get the concept of a Victorian...
