    March 11 + 13 + 14, 2008

I was looking at the DLP website and saw that there is EMH every day in March 2008 except on the 11, 13 and 14. Anyone know why EMH isn't being offered on those dates?:confused3

    F&W Festival activities for kids?

I didn't see many kids at the F&W activities. Almost all of the kids I saw in the World Showcase were doing the regular activities. I did see one little boy very happily coloring a picture of a turkey in the Oklahoma teepee. I only remember seeing one child at a food booth--a very adventurous...

    Just Back from POR

Yes, this was my first solo trip to WDW although I have travelled solo before. I loved being solo in the parks. I never felt lonely. I talked to so many lovely people. It was so nice to be able to go at my own pace and pick and choose what I wanted to do. I surprised myself by getting a lot...

Official MNSSHP [Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party] 2007...

I went to the party on 10/5. It was wet but fun. I dressed as Minnie Mouse. Most of the adults weren't in costume but some were. I especially liked the biker couple and Fred Flintstone with Betty Rubble (they told everyone there was a secret story there wink wink). I think my favorite was...

I ate there last thursday. I really enjoyed the BBQ chicken salad. It was very fresh and tasty. I also liked watching the ducks and cranes wander around the seating area.

Just back and noted two things I wished I had carried with me--Advil (got headaches in the afternoon for some reason) and bandaids for blisters.

    epcot - nemo ride

I enjoyed the ride especially since it was a walk on. It helps to have seen the movie to really enjoy the storyline. I loved the movie so I thought the ride was fun. I also enjoyed the Nemo musical in AK--anything Nemo works for me.:goodvibes

    Photos With Characters

I just returned yesterday from a solo trip. I had not planned to get photos with the characters but once I was there, it seemed like the natural thing to do. There was always a CM available to take my picture. I happily chatted with families in line while waiting. So my advice is--go for it!!!

Please give me your opinion on the Nemo show in AK

Great photos! I just returned from a solo trip. I was at AK on Thursday and saw the first showing of Nemo. I thought it was a well done musical. The costumes were great. It had good energy and pacing. All the kids around me really enjoyed it too.

    Just Back from POR

Yes, it was a solo trip. I felt very comfortable in the back of the building. There were always people around the resort so I never felt uncomfortable walking around alone even late at night. My first night I went for a swim at 11:45pm. I used the buses. Leaving the resort, I used the...

    Just Back from POR

I just returned from 4 nights at POR. I loved the resort. Here's why: ROOM--I was the Acadian House in the Mansions section. It was a great location, very central. My room was in the back of the building so it was very quiet. FOOD COURT--I had breakfast there each day and had a late...

    F&W Festival activities for kids?

The peach buckle was like a peach tart. It was shaped liked a tart and had that type of texture and flavor. It is hard to accurately describe but trust me, it is delicious. I spent so much time in the Oklahoma section, they were greeting me like an old friend.:goodvibes

    Kali River Rapids--anyone else disappointed?

I was really looking forward to Kali. I loved the Grizzly River Run at DL--did it again and again and again. But Kali was a one time ride for me. Nothing happened and it was over so quickly. It was nice to get soaked on a boiling hot day but I was really hoping for more of a thrill ride...

Turn left when you enter the World Showcase and the Champagne booth is the first festival booth you will encounter. I had the truffles twice during my stay (just returned last night) and thought they were delish!

    F&W Festival activities for kids?

I just returned last night and spent a lot of time at F&W festival. Two great spots for kids are the Pearville Fair and the Oklahoma area. At the Pearville Fair they have coloring and lots of fun pear info in interesting displays. There is also a cooking demo section. Marlin, the chef...
