What's the craziest frugal/budgeted minded thing you've done on your trip?

Well, we always stay off site. This is Disneyland. Paradise Pier and Disneyland Hotel are...fine. They're nothing special at all. The Fairfield Inn is just as close. GC is amazing, but its still not worth the price of a St Regis. I usually stay at Fairfield Inn or the JW. I get free...

Southern California Ticket Question re: ID

I looked up the law when I came here. From what I read, because my primary is still in PA (owned home,) and I am not working here (just on vacation from Oct 1 - March 1) I don't need a new DL. It does seem I can get a California ID though without giving up my PA DL.

Hotel New York or Newport Bay Club

If you want new, go to Hotel New York. Newport Bay Club is a great hotel, but honestly, I don't find it as inviting as Beach Club. (I don't love the Yacht Club, but that's just a me thing, I find its a bit "stuffier." Honestly, I like Sequoia Lodge more than Newport Bay Club. The main...

Southern California Ticket Question re: ID

Hi All, East Coaster living in SoCal now. My partner and I are living in San Diego. I'm more transient, but on the lease with the paperwork. However, I am not changing my ID to be a CA ID. Am I still eligible for the SoCal weekday tickets, as I am documented living here? I don't want to be...

What date is Earl of Sandwich closing?

Tragic its closing, even for a while. Earl of Sandwich is one of the better quick places to eat at Downtown Disney. (Its also my favorite spot to grab lunch at Disneyland Paris, so its a very Disney place to me)

    Split Stay question

I would do the partner hotel first, but depending on which on-site you stay at, it may not be that much of an upgrade *looking at you, Paradise Pier, and your vaguely mid-80s airport hotel vibe*

    Art of Marvel Hotel Opening

I would think that they are going to delay it as long as they can until they can really PR blitz it. It may get to a point depending on levels of tourism and COVID that they just delay it until 2022 when Avengers Campus opens at Walt Disney Studios.

    Disneyland Paris Hotel questions

Parc Astérix is fantastic! It is great for kids, but I had a blast as a 30 year old. OzIris is a killer B&M inverted coaster, and I can't wait for their massive new coaster in 2023, Toutatis. Its going to be...insane o_O The downside with Parc Astérix is that it is annoying to get to unless...

Disney World Announces Dates for the 50th Anniversary Celebration

Disney seems to always do 18 months for these things. Disneyland Paris had their 25th anniversary run for 18 months, and I am sure had Disneyland been open last year, we would still be in the middle of the 65th. Money talks.

    Mary Blair in drag...

Jack Plotnick is a treasure, between him as Mary Blair now and his Evie Harris in Girls Will Be Girls, he's great.

    Marvel Land

I could see it being bumped back by a month or two, but hopefully not much longer than that. I'm pretty excited to see this, and hopeful this is a turning point for DLP. (I am so very vocal in hoping RnRC gets new trains like Space Mountain with the comfy restraints, but thats just me :D)

    Booking annual pass online

I wouldn't worry too much about waiting till you are there. If you get to the park at open, it takes about 10 minutes to get your passes in the queue in front of Walt Disney Studios.

    Airline options from the U.S?

I've been splitting my life between Paris and Pittsburgh, PA for two years now (boyfriend took a job in France, I work in America in the summers.) I've gotten rates as low as $498 on Air Canada via Montréal. I'm flying TAP home to Pittsburgh on Sunday, Lyon-Lisbon-Washington-Pittsburgh (for my...

Where else to go in France (with 4 year old)?

    1) Parc Asterix is super fun and close to Paris. It is themed to the Asterix comics, and has some amazing theming, so its good for kiddos and adults. As an adult, I really loved the Oziris coaster, and Pegasus Express is good for all ages. 2) Castles, castles everywhere. 3) Add on a few days...

    1 Day at DL/Studios

I think your idea of doing the one time Fastpass is a great one. You can supplement it with your normal ones you get with a ticket and have a great day. Disneyland Paris is its own beast, but it is a great park.

Hi! I'm an annual pass holder at Disneyland Paris currently, as I winter in France and spend my summers in the United States for work (partner's job is in France.) However, he got a new job and is moving to southern California this summer. Here at Disneyland Paris, if an annual passholder...

I've not done Art of Animation in Paris yet, I may have to run down this week before I go back to America for Christmas.

how does photopass work at DLP?

I think my biggest complaint about Photopass at Disneyland Paris is the on-ride photos are so dreadful. We went for the first time last year, and the where they take the photos at Space Mountain is just so meh that we had friends ask if we were bored when I posted them on Facebook. The same...
