    Park Tickets @ the Resorts?

We have a 2 night room only reservation through Hotels.com at AoA. Is it just easier to buy MK park tickets when we go to check in @ AoA rather than buy them online and go through will call. We are checking in on a Friday and going to MK Saturday and I want to avoid the MK will call ticket...

My most embarrassing moment at Disney, share yours!!

When I was around 6-8 years old, I was in DTD with my family back when it was called "Disney Village". I started to feel sick so my father walked me toward a restroom. On the way there I lost it and threw up all over the sidewalk. The worst part was that it was about 3 feet away from a cast...

Anyone use otel.com to book a Disney resort room?

I have used that site in the past and had very good success. We just booked a room through them for a quick trip in August and yes their rates were much better than the WDW promo rates. Does anyone know if it is possible to link a room only reservation to the wdw website? Is there no access...

Is there any season when snakes are more active?

As a current Floridian and someone who has frequently visited the World I can tell you that it's not the snakes you need to worry about but instead those sweet "innocent" looking brown bunnies all over the properties......:scared:

    Canada-"Under-Appreciated"?

If Canada seems less appreciated in EPCOT it's probably only because it seems less exotic than the other countries. I think it's one if the most visually appealing places in WS.

Calling all those who visited WDW when it was 1 park & 3 hotels...

Besides the Poly and Contemporary, the DTD hotels were the places to stay back in the day. The Royal Plaza was a top notch hotel, Michael Jackson would stay in a suite there when he visited WDW. I remember the Travel Lodge which is now the Wyndam I believe. They had a "sleepy bear" as...

Calling all those who visited WDW when it was 1 park & 3 hotels...

We would spend in a week in Orlando. We would go to MK for a few days and fill the rest of the time with secondary attractions such as Circus World (Boardwalk and Baseball), Seaworld, Mystery Fun House, Gatorland and other places on I-Drive. We would also spend a day at The Disney Village...

    Character Meal with no kids???

They are alot of "weird" goings on at WDW the least of which is attending a character meal w/o kids. Dont worry what anyone thinks and have fun. WDW is one of the few placest on Earth where there should be zero thought about just being a kid.

Grand Floridian Shoots Self in Rear

OP stole his post from a Seinfeld episode ""Yeah. I met this lawyer, we went out to dinner, I had the lobster bisque, we went back to my place, yada yada yada, I never heard from him again." "But you yada yada'd over the best part." "No, I mentioned the bisque."

Tom Sawyer Island - The biggest waste of prime Real Estate in all of WDW.

IMO adding another E-ticket at the cost of a place like TSI would be a shame. It's these different special places like TSI that give MK it's unique character. I was skepical of the new Fantasyland project too when it was announced

Jerkiest Thing A WDW Guest Can Do

Anyonw who does any of those things is a jerk and deserves: blisters on his/her feet, lost ADRs, the only WDW room on property with bedbugs, being stuck on a broken down monorail, a 220 minute wait at TSM, chaffed thighs, a ripped poncho, and getting stuck on the Stitch ride with the shoulder...

Are Resort pools "salt water" pools?

Salt pools are chlorine pools. A salt chlorine generator uses sodium (salt) added directly to the pool water and makes sodium hypochlorite (liquid chlorine). Salt water pools feels better since the salinity of the water is closer to matching the salinity of our bodies and skin. The dilution...
