Dopeynme posted in another thread exactly what I've been trying to tackle planning wise... I would hate for airport security to ruin a once in a lifetime surprise, or even worse, loose it in my luggage! So I'm asking DISers what experience do you have traveling with an Engagement ring...

OK the current plan is to do the V&A thing. The manager there told me that they can bring out the ring as a "course" and on the plate have a chocolate rose and then its my turn. Wish me luck :lovestruc

This would be terrible.... :scared: I thought I had my mind made up. V&A sent me some picts of what they typically offer, and the chocolate rose looked really nice. Going to look for pictures of the rose garden you talked about NeverEnough.... :confused:
