Thanks for that. Since it's just me and DS, I don't think we'd be dining at any Signatures anyway.

If I get an upgrade, it would be Epcot view with balcony since I already booked the resort view with balcony. Great to know about the CAA ... DS10 eats ways more than I do! Lol.

Thank you so much for all the information on the Swan and Dolphin! I just booked a room for 2012 (April 1-7), the latter portion coinciding with Easter weekend. I got a rate of $199 for a resort view with balcony. When they entered the reservation, they put me down as 5th floor, boat launch...

Has anyone ever stayed on the beach in Florida?

Yes! We have been staying at Isla de Sol on the Intercoastal Waterway for 10 years now. Great condos, with great amenities. Close to the beach, great views, every "set" of condos has its own pool. Water or golf course views. Can't wait to go back before WDW ... 81 days to go!

    Wpg to Pearson Westjet

There are some grab and go vendors once you are past Customs ... no sit down options if I remember, but definitely sandwiches, etc.

    Wpg to Pearson Westjet

You will pick up your luggage right before heading through Customs. Once through Customs, you do go through security again. It's pretty quick, once you have your luggage in hand.

    How long is the flight?

If it's a direct flight, approximately 3.5 hours to Santa Ana; another 5 hours from Santa Ana to Orlando.

    Clearing Customs at Pearson

I have found, too, that the luggage does not always come out that quick ... I had two hour layover at Pearson last year to MCO and my luggage came out a half hour before the flight. Luckily, we were moved to the head of the line at customs and walked right onto our flight. But definitely...

    Passport Question

Our Canadian passports will expire April 7, 2010. DS and I leave for FLA March 28 and return April 6, 2010. I know countries other than the US (mostly European) require that passports be valid a certain number of weeks or months past your return date. When I called to enquire about the US, I...

Which moderate between CSR or CBR and Why?

We just booked the CSR today. I gave my DS (8) the choice between any of the moderates ... showed him pictures, took out the UG's and You-Tubed them both, including the CBR pirate and Nemo rooms. He chose CSR! Why? "I wanted it because it had the coolest slide, big beds, and I really liked...

    Resort/Package Dilemma

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to add on sick time, personal days or days without pay onto school breaks to extend vacations, and the new deal doesn't work for us date-wise. Wish it did! I'm leaning towards CBR ...
