    What was your first resort?

1992 - Dixie Landings!!!! POR is my absolute favorite place to stay. I'm not sure if the nostalgia factor has anything to do with it or if it's just because it is so gorgeous. :)

    Upgraded Magic Bands

My daughter really wanted Stitch but, of course, I was unable to get it. I did, however, get her the white castle and myself It's a Small World. They arrived 2 days ago and I absolutely love them! Good luck everyone!

Port Orleans - Riverside or French Quarter or Coronado Springs

I have stayed at all of these. I would happily stay at any of them again. That being said, POR definitely has my heart and is my first choice. There is just something about the lush, beautiful grounds that keeps me coming back. I love the way it is situated on the river. Every section is...

What is your go to moderate resort?

The only one we haven't stayed at yet is CBR. Stayed at CSR last year and liked it much more than I was prepared to! Honestly they are all pretty great, but my heart belongs to POR!! I would look at pictures and pick the theme that you like best. Can't go wrong with with any of the 3 that I have...

Pistachio creme brule at Tony's. It was soooo good!

Why do people randomly add the letter "s" to some restaurant names?

How about Raglan Road being called Ragland Road ???? Why, just why.........?

best and worse meal of your last trip to WDW?

February 2018 It's amazing how so many people can have such very different experiences! Best: It's really hard to choose -Biergarten, Rose &Crown, Skipper Canteen, and Tony's (yes, Tony's!) were all fantastic Worst: while I,personally, enjoyed my meal, it has to be Raglan Road - my daughter's...

"fold down" bed at Port Orleans Riverside?

My 14yo daughter slept on the murphy bed with no problem - granted she is only 5'2". My 17yo son (5'10") slept on it for 1 night and didn't complain too much!

    Tony’s at Magic Kingdom

I have eaten at Tony's 3x now, most recently in February. I have enjoyed it immensely each time. My dining companions also really enjoyed it. It's my favorite TS restaurant in MK. To each his own, I guess.

    Which moderate for next summer?

I have stayed at POR, POFQ, and CSR. I was leery about CSR as I've always heard about how big it is but I quite enjoyed it and would stay again. Of these 3 POR is definitely my favorite! The theming is just so much more beautiful, IMO.

    CBR vs Coronado Springs

We stayed at CSR last month and the construction had absolutely no impact on our trip. It is a very nice resort. However, we very much prefer the Port Orleans resorts, especially Riverside.

    French Quarter vs Riverside

I have stayed at all 3 of the resorts in question. We just got back from our 1st stay at CSR on 2/6. We had requested a refurbished room and did not get one. We were in Ranchos 7B and the construction had no impact on our stay. While we liked CSR it was our least favorite of the 3 with POR being...

    Help with Crowd Calendar

I was at WDW from 1/30-2/6 and I can tell you that it was extremely busy the whole time. I don't think I checked Touring Plans specifically but I did look at several crowd predictors and they all said light crowds. Crowds were far from light. We typically go to WDW every 2 years in february and...

    Poor Jungle Cruise

We had a great ride on the Jungle Cruise on 2/5. Our skipper was hilarious and everything was in working order. Didn't notice anything with missing parts either!

    Dinner help-MK day

I'm going to 2nd the Crystal Palace suggestion. Buffets are the best for picky eaters!

Adult size portion - kids menu

You certainly can! We just got back and my very picky, non-meat-eating 15 year old had lots of adult portions of mac-n-cheese from the kids menu.

    Switched to CSR from POR

My boyfriend and I have a trip coming up at the end of January. We were going to stay at POR (I should probably let you know that I LOVE POR and almost consider it part of the whole WDW experience). Switching to CSR is saving me more than $620 and money is tight so it was a no brainer for me...

    Handicapped accessible at POR

Which buildings are handicapped accessible at POR? I have multiple sclerosis and although I have no actual mobility issues, I do get tremendous burning pain in my legs when I am on my feet for a long time (I know I will be - worth it!) and would like to be closer to the food court/lobby area...

Tony's town square or Skipper Canteen

I actually really like Tony's. It was the first ADR I made for my upcoming trip. Everyone's taste is different so take other's opinions with a grain of salt. :)

    Trundle bed in POFQ?

We stayed at POR last year with my 2 teens - 14yo daughter and 17yo son. There is no way those 2 were going to share a bed! My daughter absolutely loved the murphy bed and had no issues with it being too small. However she is only 5'2". My son who is quite tall did sleep on it 1 night and had no...
