You have no doubt been a great friend. It is hard to know what to do at a time like this. I think pictures will be a great memory for the parents for years to come. A scrapbook is a great idea. It will be a cherished memory.

We have been there twice and have had seats in front of the stage both times. So I am not sure if balcony seats are better but being in front of the stage is really a great place to be. I do think that you may get a better view in the balcony.

I am a huge fan of Cocoa Beach. It is close to Orlando attractions and the beach is just beauitful. It is rather packed in the summer but still enjoyable nonetheless.
