CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 1/27/08-2/2/08

I just received my printed circular this morning. It shows the Buy $25 of Huggies products, get $5 ECB deal. It also shows Jumbo packs are $8.88 with card, excluding the Overnites. Do you think the Overnites are included in the ECB deal, though?

    ADR's being canceled by mistake?

I just posted about my experience two weeks ago, before I saw this thread. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1650748 The weird thing with me was that only one of my ADRs was cancelled. Everything else was intact. The next morning, I presented my confirm # to the concierge (I wrote...

    Check and Re-check your ADRs

Well, my family returned two weeks ago from a trip to the World. We were on the dining plan, so I diligently made all of my ADRs months before we left. Everything was going great until midway through our trip. We had tickets for MVMCP on its first night (Monday, 11/12.) Since I have young...

    Need NYC help!

Another hotel option is the Courtyard Marriott in Jersey City, NJ. (I have to say, you get better city views staying outside of the city.) http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/ewrnw-courtyard-jersey-city-newport/ This hotel is also right next to a shopping mall and has great dining options...

1st time at DW & need help with ADRS!!!

It looks like our boys are the same age. I would get rid of the Sci-fi dinner. It is dark and the seating may not be the best for your 1-yr old. Also, if you are in MGM, we found that Pizza Planet is a can't be missed counter service meal. Our 5-yr old loved it the past two years we were there...

Silly string & colored hair spray?

Silly string is actually illegal in my town. Not only is it highly flammable, but it also stains pavers on people's property.

    Which ressie to cancel?

Definitely cancel Tony's. I think Coral Reef is the perfect break in Epcot for a family with young children. They love seeing the fish, and Mom and Dad get to have a "real" meal.

    Lunch at Le Cellier?

For Le Cellier, lunch is definitely worth it. You can still get a petite filet or a steak. And since you are on the dining plan. . .the appetizers are really good.

    MGM Table Service

If you are looking for a nice afternoon break, I would suggest the Brown Derby. I have never been disappointed with the food (love the Cobb salad) and it's a more relaxing atmosphere than the other restaurants in the park.

    Maternity Leave

When my first son was born, I was at a small, private company. They gave me 8 weeks pay, and then allowed me to work the next month at home-- kind of like a transition period. When my second son was born, I was at a large corporation. I received 8 weeks short term disability plus 2 weeks of...

    boxed milk

I like to keep them in the house just in case I run out of milk and can't get to the store. Also, the individual boxes are great for my toddler when we are out. No refrigeration required. Personally, I think they are fine tasting. . . as long as it cold.

    Restaurant recommendations for first timers

Definitely, go to Crystal Palace. The Pooh characters are great; they even let the kids get up for a parade around the restaurant. Also, I think the food is really good. There is a great variety that will certainly please the adults in your group. The Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge is...

    Best snacks for Free Dine?

A good deal of our snack credits went to water. With the full counter service and table service meals we were not that hungry during the day. Also, it was great to get a piece of fruit in the morning (we usually pay OOP for bkfast.) My DS did enjoy a couple of Mickey ice cream bars during our...

    Liberty Tree for Lunch?

We've had lunch there on almost all of our trips to WDW. It is a great place to relax and have a good meal while you are in the Magic Kingdom. I love the crab cakes! My DS really enjoys the child's turkey dinner. I've actually never been there for dinner. If I am going to do a character meal...

CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 7/29-8/4

I'm new to this game and I have to say, I am so impressed with how all of you do. I just have one question. Where do you get multiple 4/20 CVS coupons. I got one for registering for email updates, but is there another way?

What are the WORST values on the DDP?

Lunch at the Brown Derby in MGM. I love it there--it's great to take a break at a nice restaurant. But definitely not worth the 2 TS credits.

Where To Eat B4 Very Merry Mickey X-mas Party ???

Whispering Canyon is definitely more kid-friendly. It just has a fun atmosphere. Artist Point is more upscale--it may be a waste of money for your picky eater.

    parking/trains for NYC? help!

With the pay per ride Metro Card, you get 20% bonus on any amount over $10. So if you put $10 on your card, you get $12. If you put $20, you get $24, etc. Also, you can add more money to the card at any time through the ticket vending machines. More than one person can use the card though I...
