    Cross at Sarnia or Windsor?

There should be no issues crossing the Bluewater Bridge on Friday at that hour, if you are still considering it.

driving from ontario via i75 and bluewater bridge.Help with timeline

Little late to the conversation - but just an FYI - before 6am at the BW bridge, there is only one custom booth open to cars. After 6am there will be a few more open. Just depends if that will hold you up a bit. We have left from Sarnia and have driven straight down to New Smyrna Beach in as...

    Nexus

They will usually prompt you for the questions. On occasion I just get a "see ya" but usually it's just "total value" followed by "alcohol or tobacco". Today I got that and "purpose of your trip". Varies day to day.

    Nexus

You can use the Nexus lane and be over your declaration amount. It's a verbal declaration and up to the discretion of the officer. Generally for a daily shopping trip you shouldn't have to go in to pay tax if you haven't bought alcohol or tobacco. If you know you are going to be well over the...

    Target.com and discount

There are a few different places in Port Huron to ship for $5. Target.com will take a Canadian billing and US address. Not sure about the Canadian shipping - always just cheaper for me to pay the $5 then once taxes etc are added.

Cross Border Road Trips & Food

I wouldn't bring bananas. If it has a US or Canada sticker you are good - you still need to declare it. But - it could still lead you to be pulled in to secondary to be searched. My recommendation is to stick with packaged stuff. Make one of your stops a SuperTarget or SuperWalmart - good time...

Cross Border Road Trips & Food

I haven't specifically brought oranges...I don't think. I am often bringing items in my lunch when I work and only staying in one state. Although to come out of Florida to Canada they crossed many states? Generally, they don't bother, but as always, it is a case by case bases (border guards...
