We are located in Tower 4, third flor, parking lot view; checked in this past Tuesday with no problem and our assigned room was ready. The condition of the room is fine -- furnishings and carpert in excellent condition and no mold/mildew in either bath. I guess this is a refurbed unit. We booked...

    Anyone Use StubHub?

I used Stub Hub last year to sell tickets I had purchased for a performance of How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying (Darren Criss had taken over the lead role and the tickets were my then 18-year-old daughter's Christmas present) and a work commitment required me to purchase tickets...

    Vacation Strategy

Windsor Hills is not a 'they,' but rather a property development for which there are various management companies and/or owners who rent villas or townhouses at Windsor Hills. There is nothing on the Vacation Strategy websites that indicates they manage rentals for Windsor Hills. Vacation...

    Wine lovers thread

At Trader Joe stores in Calif., Charles Shaw wine sells for $1.99, hence the name two-buck-chuck. The same wine sold at Trader Joe stores in other states may cost over $3 or $4, and is called three-buck-chuck or four-buck-chuck accordingly.

I love sparkling wine. I will see if I can find this label. I read some time ago that Charles Shaw (the Chuck of the two- or three-buck Chuck) was an actual winery but was bought up by a larger distributer.

Two buck Chuck is three bucks and change where I live. I've not had it in a because the last time I drank some of the chardonnay, I found it was too sweet.

I like the prices referenced earlier and I'm onboard with any discussion of wine. I also like red and white wines. My favorites at the moment is the wonderful sparkling rose and prosecco I found at Trader Joes. Bring on the bubbly.:thumbsup2

Yikes! Sorry to hear about that. That's not the type of souvenir one wants to take home Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner! Ghostbusters 2 is one. Another, which is a favorite of mine, is Saboteur directed by Hitchcock. Lady Liberty is also featured in Splash. Can anyone think of others?

Arugula Lovers--Bring your sweet selves over here!

I saw a short article in today's paper reporting that the crown of the Statue of Liberty is likely to re-open by July 4 this year. The crown was closed after Sept. 11. Have any of you gone inside the crown? I did once many years ago. The view was incredible but the walk up had my thighs...
