That's what I do--use my Fitbit in conjunction with MFP. I love logging in and seeing all those extra calories!

Disneyland is "home", but I loved Magic Kingdom too. Dd and I ate lunch in the castle, and that was a huge plus. Pirates in MK was disappointing, as was IASW.

We've done Goofy's, Storytellers and PCH (for breakfast) and Goofy's is my favorite. I think your kids would love it.

I usually get at least 25k steps per day, which would probably add another 1,000+ calories or so on MFP. I like to eat my breakfast at the hotel and bring lunch, so I can save my calories for the snacks. :teeth:

I was able to get one at Candy Palace back in February as CC was closed. We actually did get sent to Toontown for a TT, and the guy there said they used to hang them from the ceiling but they kept falling down. :rotfl: After a while we cleared up the fact that we were looking for candy TT's, not...

We ate there once. That won't happen again. Even the milkshakes my kids had were gross...pretty hard to screw up a milkshake!

I was freaking out too, but that's where I found them (it took me a little while because several well meaning CM's thought I was looking for the furry Tigger tails. :) ).

I bought the Disneyland one on Main St. last week, but forgot to get the DCA one. I had no idea they were so popular!

I like PPH, but given the same price I'd stay at the DLH. I really like the proximity of the DLH better, as well as the pool area (which you very well may want in October, as it can still be hot). The only thing I like better about PPH is they have a couch that makes into a bed, which is nice...

Yes, you can sit on the ground in some areas (not sure if that's only priority seating). I miss the dessert buffet on the balcony. :worried:

Agreed...the fireworks were terrible. You spend so much time and effort to get seats, and it was over in what seemed like five minutes. The music used to be so good, and it just wasn't the same. Hopefully it will be back to normal when the refurb is done.

We just had dinner with a party of 10 at Jazz Kitchen, Naples, and Rain Forest Cafe. All were accommodating with reservations and tables where we could sit together. We did a Fantasmic package one night at River Belle Terrace and they split us up into two tables. Other than that, we just tried...

If you've never been I'd say go for it. We got back yesterday and the refurbs were more disappointing than I thought they'd be. We still had an amazing time, of course, but seeing entire sections of both parks closed and the castle with some weird fake image was kind of a bummer. Not in a ruin...

We'll be there next week. Not thrilled about some of the closures and crowds, but will try to make the best of it. We do have some meal reservations as we have a large group, and we're a little concerned about the wait times. So far it seems like a lot of people from the Bay Area are headed down...

I totally agree. I like the pool at GCH because it's more quiet and I love the lounge chairs, but if there are kids I'd go for the DLH. Also, if you have a really young child that takes naps or an elderly person who needs to rest often, GCH is a good choice. Personally, I think the rooms aren't...

For me it depends if we're staying onsite or not. If we are, it's more minimal; an empty water bottle w/ a carabiner clip, sunscreen, hand sanitizer and wipes (for tables), my camera, phone, wallet, etc. I will sometimes pack a lunch and take snacks as well (granola bars, nuts, etc.). If we're...

We've eaten at Flo's a few times and have never had a good experience. :( My daughter still talks about the horrible chocolate milkshake she had last year...how can you screw up a milkshake?? :confused3 Too bad, because the restaurant setting is adorable and one of my favorite parts of CL.
