    How much IS a suite?

My family of six paid roughly 17,000 USD for a Cat 2, 10-day Med Cruise. We usually do cat 10-12, but my dad got a bonus... dang was that room huge compared to the other ones we have had... Overall, we loved the room, but I don't think we're doing it again (or, at least not again until I work...

Computer access - options? checking email

Typo on the wireless rates? 100 min for $100 is $1 a min 0.0! What is it actually? I know you copy/pasted from the disneycruise.com website, but does anyone know the actual price? I'd like to use my laptop if possible, but I certainly won't be paying $1 per minute for it.

    Moving family members between cabins??

You can even get cards that open both of the rooms, especially if your DD and DN want to stay in the same room, but you want access to their room all the time. That's what my parents did for our last cruise, where we (my brother and I) stayed down the hall.

    The Wild Side

I went on the wild side excursion, and it's tons of fun. It gets you the much needed exercise that you can't normally get being under 18 on the ship. You go running/walking (your choice), biking, and kayaking. I liked it, and have done it twice, and I definitely recommend it. EDIT: I forgot...

Sign in, sign out scares me to death.....

I apologize in advance if this constitutes as flaming. If it was a crew worker who got arrested/quarantined/whatever for exposing themselves, or molesting children, don't the workers INSIDE of the clubs have just the same chances? They're around kids 13 hours a day, and there are plenty of...

    What is an adult?

Wasn't trying to flame, sorry. I guess I'm just... "opinionated." And I like being around "old farts" like you, since you, in general, don't tend to scream/splash/jump/etc in the hot tubs And your comment about the elementary school condoms is pretty funny. I don't think I even knew that...

    What is an adult?

I'm 16, and I would like to believe that I'm more mature than the average teen. I usually don't like close to 90% of the teens on-board (or 90% of all teens for that matter) and when I find friends, we often hang out in the adult-only pools, or the cove cafe, but not the bars. I have never been...

Best but least expensive transportation to port from airport?

We booked with happylimosuine on all of our cruises. Very nice prices. http://www.happylimo.com/orlando_limousine_rates.html Ctrl+F Port Canaveral. $100 one way for 4 people, $200 for round trip.

    6/6/07 med report...long

It's no "PDA" while inside of the stack, or during stack activities elsewhere. It stands for Public Display of Affection. This is a very strange rule. I even got in trouble for hugging someone goodnight once. With all the rules, the stack was usually just a meeting place, then "we" all left...

any recommendations for great servers on the Magic???

We actually had the same guy. We asked for him again, but he has left. We then had Marie and Sky (forgot where there are from, sorry) and they were amazing too! A while ago, in 2004, during our four day wonder, I remember having a server that didn't speak English well, and we had no clue what...

    Kids in room alone?

You're totally fine once you're on-board, they just have to book it that way. I have 4 siblings, so we need two rooms, and my brother and I usually end up with one room, or sometimes the older of my two younger sisters stays with us.

If you had to choose and why

September or October of 08. The weather isn't that awesome in Jan/Feb, and it's cheaper in Sept/Oct. The only risk is Sept/Oct runs the most hurricanes/tropical storms.

    Boat rocking on first night?

During our first seven night cruise, we were in a tropical storm (ship came back a day early even!) and the ship was rocking hard enough that under half the people were at dinner. It was quite comical, actually, since plates were always getting dropped, and the woman sitting next to us had her...

    Tipping for Conceirge and OC

If you believe anyone did an exceptional job in concierge, the oceaneer's club, or really anyone else, they love phone cards. Calling is normally $7.95 a minute on-board, or some other high rate on cell phones, so the phone card is much appreciated. At least this was what our first waiter told...

American Euro Cruisers... how are you getting to Europe?

The original plan was to win the lottery, take the trans-atlantic over, stay in Europe for 3 months, then take the next trans-atlantic back. Of course, we didn't win, and I'm sure they were booked anyways. We're flying PHX-STN-BCN round trip on British Airways. We had major...

What was your favorite experience from a DCL ship?

I think my favorite moments are held in the "secret" deck 7 aft. The sea is absolutely beautiful, and simply being outside with either new friends or close family, the feeling is absolutely wonderful. Especially at night, when leaving a city. I love how the lights hit the water. My...

Ok, Calling all birth certificate, proof of citizenship experts.

This is a constant problem for my mother, except for the opposite reason. She is French, so she spells 'Michele' with one 'l.' People always spell it with two! The first time we cruised with Royal Carribean, we did it over the phone and had a long wait when getting on...
