There hasn't been anything mentioned about changing the fireworks. The biggest thing mentioned with the castle is going to be the projections on the castle being all pink/red/valentines and I read there will be love songs played throughout the park.

They will most likely not inform you ahead of time. They can change the itinerary anywhere from months in advance - to the first sea day if the captains feels it necessary. their number 1 priority is making sure the passengers, crew and ship will be safe and if that means changing their course...

I wouldn't say we are in the clear - even if we don't get hit with the actual hurricane we would still be docking in the aftermath of power outages, flooding, etc. I called disney today and they were looking into possible port options were we unable to dock due to the storm - they won't confirm...

From what I have read on past threads about this subject they only decorate for the actual Halloween Sailing. It does seem a bit silly not to just decorate for the entire month of October but that's just how it's been in the past.

If you feel you must decorate, decorate the inside of your cabin where YOU can enjoy it. It seems like a fairly reasonable compromise, you still get to personalize your room but others don't need to look at what they would consider an eye sore! :thumbsup2

I still vote to completely remove shutters from all the boats and replace it with a disney operated photopass system. I personally can't stand the way shutters is set up or run - printing out thousands of photos is such a waste!! most of them end up in the "trash" bin! Everything is automated...

believe me i'm not hoping for a hurricane on our cruise (9/12) but I have to be honest I don't think I'd be too upset if our itinerary got changed to head south for a day at castaway cay and disney world instead :lmao:

There is also milk & juice at the beverage station open 24/7 - it is located next to the coffee machine (on the MAGIC)

If that's true than that really stinks! I e-mailed disney a few days ago about what would be playing on my cruise and the lady said nemo, people like us, brave, avengers and a few others but if they changed it because of the pixar cruises I think that's a bit unfair and lame. :headache...

They don't show movies earlier than their release date, so unless you are actually at sea on sept 14th I don't think so :confused3
