The Bilmar is nice, it makes you feel like you're in a beach movie. Treasure Island is very retro with their hotels/resorts. Where is your mtg being held at? Look at St. Pete Beach for a few resorts too...try the PostCard Inn, very cool or try the Sirata ... very nice too...both on SPB if not...

You needed to register for the taping...once the taping is complete you are allowed to stay at the MK for the day. Registration has been closed.

Yes you are allowed to stay at the MK for the rest of the day...but what do you mean by 'do we got told where to go' as in direction for the taping? Yes, and its not a one take event, sometimes the talent are asked to their 'talent' be it singing, dancing, lead ins, etc., 5 times or more...it...

Nope, no wristbands.....and there are 2 VIP tours but the CM won't run and get FP or anything like that....

I will add to this thread...last year due to inclement weather, 'we' (cast members) and the 'talent' on certain days had to be at the MK for parade taping and such as early as 430am so 7am is not a 'true' call time...it varies for what needs to be done and if Disney is behind in taping or needs...

This is true, however, when most guests hear 'overbooked' they misunderstand and think there is no availability....which in that case, the resort is not 'to capacity' And yes each resort does have limited number of rooms allocated for FD .....

You're very welcome :) and I understand what you're saying, it would be great if it happens to anyone but even if it doesn't, then its still amazing to be at WDW no matter where you are at on property ~ enjoy your stay at WDW :wizard:

Yes its great when it happens, and trust me, I know, I"ve been a CM for a long time and I know that overbooking isn't the ONLY reason guests get upgraded, its for a lot of different reasons :wizard:

Pardon me but no thats not true, my good friend was at POP and I know that it wasn't overbooked, and there was availability all of September so you might not want to be so 'matter of fact' with your 'facts' there are always different reasons for guests being upgraded. :wizard:

It has nothing to do with the Year of a Million Dreams, Disney 'walks/upgrades' guests who are normally in Preferred rooms (usually thats the area of Values resorts and/or Mods for the guests chosen) to have gotten the upgrade to SSR last year....and it happens at certain times of the year ....
