Hi! We will be staying at VGC for the first time this August! We have booked a 1BR....any recommendations on location requests? I'm not really sure where the villas are located within the hotel.

We arrived on Monday (first time here!) and leave for OKW on Friday. We are enjoying the resort and will most definitely return! We did an airboat ride thru Gator Bait which was a blast...trying Squid Lips tonight (got the groupon that some were mentioning). Love the beach...never crowded. DS15...

Great info, thanks! Might be worth it to set the alarm one day for the turtles...I can always take a nap on the beach later. I'm looking forward to a low key vacation :beach: with some fun things mixed in.

Thanks for the replies! I have gone kayaking a few times in the past so I know what to expect but I don't recall having to operate a rudder (just paddling). We will definitely check out the specifics once we get there as well as the paddle boarding (which is a request of DS15).

I have read that you can do a guided tour with kayaks. Is this right at the resort or somewhere nearby? Has anyone done this and if so, was it worth it? Also, does anyone know if they offer stand up paddle boarding? Thanks for any info....we leave in 10 days :cool1:!

We are staying at SSR in a little more than 2 weeks! We are bringing DS16's friend along. These two (plus DS14) will need to run most mornings for XC training. Does SSR have a marked jogging/walking path? Thanks for any info....

We have done a few split stays...they are usually reserved for longer trips (7+ days). We don't mind them at all. We usually reserve our changeover day for a pool day, waterpark day or a DTD day...anything non-park. With a longer trip we don't go into a park every day anyway, so it is easy to...
