I wore flip-flop style sandals to Palo dinner and brunch one month ago on the Fantasy. They were shiny faux leather (I think one pair was rose gold and one was silver and white?) and not rubber, but they did not have an ankle strap. No one said a word. My opinion is that you will be fine...

We're just going to have to agree to disagree on this point. I've literally spent longer reading this thread than I did purchasing the wifi, looking up resort availability, and booking what we needed. There was nothing even approximating a lottery until Southwest added another flight on Friday...

It legitimately never occurred to me that anyone other than me would make arrangements for my family (not even my husband, hahaha) As I pointed out previously, I'm not a DCL apologist and think there were a couple of areas of opportunity for improvement, but I don't really understand this thread.

I'm not sure I understand why Disney needed to block off any rooms. As I described, when I booked online on Wednesday morning (well after the announcement on Tuesday evening) I had my choice of availability ranging from Value to Deluxe/DVC.

Hi all - we're taking some WDW newbies next week and have the 4pm HDDR planned - afterwards we'd like to go to Disney Springs. What is the fastest, easiest, best (?) way? FW internal bus to FW bus stop? Water launch to WL or Contemporary and bus from there? We've HDDR (and water launch!)...

My SIL is at the Poly. She had an ADR; they are not honoring them. They are having a buffet for Poly guests. Sorry, I'd be disappointed to miss the skewers too.

Totally agree - posted without judgement. They're obviously looking to feed as many Poly guests as quickly as they can and the typical 'Ohana experience would not provide for that. I just saw a poster wondering a few times about her ADR for tonight and thought I would give her the info.

My sister-in-law and her family are at the Poly right now. Their pre-existing ADR for 'Ohana is not being honored tonight and instead they have the option to get in line for the buffet dinner that will be served there for Poly guests. Just an FYI for the poster wondering about her ADR -- looks...

Right, I totally expected to only see seven days - but I expected those days to start with 10/16 as it's the first day of our reservation! I'd be all set if it did that. However, it's starting with 10/14 and so the day I need isn't included as it's more than seven days after 10/14. :(

I'm having trouble with this. Our reservation is for 10/16 - 10/26. I'd like to make a FP+ reservation for 10/22, which should be (1) available to book now and (2) within the first seven days of our trip. Should be all set, right? Except the site is making 10/14 - 10/20 available and...
