dinner at Be Our Guest? Or is lunch experience enough?

We have been several times for lunch, & we arrive at 10:30 stand in line, take pictures, enjoy the view, already looked at menu some of the cast members have so we are ready to order, the turkey sandwich is great, & I liked the quiche too, we always get dessert which all are great. Regardless...

    Disney Rain Poncho's

We are celebrating our 29th anniversary this July with 4 of our grandbabies, so we always haul around a backpack with all the rain poncho's, also recycle each year these. Last year in July it rained buckets 3 of the 4 days, actually had a wonderful time in the rain. Hope all of you have a...

    Disney Rain Poncho's

I laughed when I saw people were buying those .99 thin ones, with the humidity in Florida they stick to you like glue, one year we all thought we were suffocating in them & had a hard time getting them off (panick), now we only buy the ones like at Disney, except we pick them up at one of those...

Spending money for family of 4?

We live 6 hrs away from Disney and go at least 4 times a year. We stop at Walmart and buy 2 cases of bottles water and soda. Also we bring a bag of apples and bananas for breakfast. Our toaster comes with us and we bring a loaf of bread, bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter and pop tarts. So...

    Hats at Disney

We are going to Disney in August with two grandchildren:cool1: and I hate the sun in our eyes. Does anyone remember if they have any Disney Mickey ears with a visor? I don't want a baseball hat, we want something fun.

    Weather in December?

We just came back from Disney after five days and was very nice during the day but two of the nights we needed jackets. Epcot can get chilly any night due to the lake. But the last few nights did not need a jacket at all. We wore shorts/capri's everyday. I have been during christmas and it...

Thinking about camping ... any info? Good or Bad??

With that many small children I would think you would have a better time if you had a cabin. You have a place to come back and rest. A lot of people do not realize how hot Florida can be with the humidity, no matter what time of year. Winters are great but summers are too hot, which makes...

    Bathrooms

The bathrooms were great and we did not seem to have any problems with waiting since some of the people have baths in their rv's. I never waited more than 5 minutes for a place to change clothes and shower. They were very clean in the ladies room. Have a great time. Valirie:)

Just came back from Fort Wilderness tent camping

Sorry I forgot about bus transportation. We used the boat to get to the Magic Kingdom. It takes longer but our grandson wanted to ride on the monorail to Epcot so we took the boat to MK and then monorail to the tranportation center and then hopped on another monorail to get to Epcot, but it...

Just came back from Fort Wilderness tent camping

It rained everyday we were there and our tents stayed dry except one day when my daughter pushed her blow up bed too close to the tent and her pillow was wet, but over all just messy. They use shell and sand and it gets wet and sticks to your feet. We kept shower sandals right next to the door...

WWYD? Tent camping or Class C rv with 2 small kids? (pics of your tent-only site?)

We just came home from tent camping yesterday at the Fort Wilderness and it was so hot. We took a 5 yr old and he was cranky from the heat and trying to keep him busy and not to disturb the other campers was a problem. Only when we were at the parks was it okay. And if you need to bring the...

Just came back from Fort Wilderness tent camping

Had a wonderful time at the parks, and some what of a good time tent camping. I would advice anyone who wants to tent camp in July or August, that you are a seasoned camper who likes the heat, the only word I can say is that is was steamy. We also had a problem with people in the 1500 cotton...

    Tent camping How many outlets?

Thanks for the help. Also is that a tab trailer in your picture? We have been looking for a small trailer to camp in, but what is most important, does it fit into your garage the height seems like it would be taller.

    Single Mom Camping Logistics ??

Finding a tent that can hold air mattresses is a good idea. At Target they have small inflatable sleeping bag mattresses for children. So you might all fit into one of these. While shopping for our trip I saw a deal at Walmart that had everything you need to camp with, so might be worth...

    ANIMAL KINGDOM--half day park?

I am amazed people would say that AK is a half day park. We have been 3 times and each time discover new things. It is great place after the other parks to relax and watch animals, ride some rides, and see some shows. The train ride to the petting area was something we had never done and had...

    How is Expedition Everest ?

Our family just rode it in Feb. and it was great fun. Not like going for the thrill coasters, but this one is fun because it stops at different points to change directions, so the unusual our family give this one a thumbs up. :goodvibes
