We're exactly 17 days out today, and the letter and the bands came at the same time (separate packages, though). So maybe the "17-day Rule" is spot-on.
Nope, it just says:
"As a tester, you get to try our NEW MagicBand. This cool and colorful wristband is an all-in-one accessory that connects you to all of the selections you've made. You can use the MagicBand to:
Enter your Disney Resort hotel room with just a touch.
Enter the WDW Parks...
My MagicBands just arrived! They are nicely packaged in a box with everyone's name below their band.
The only email I had previously received was one I got two days ago saying they shipped. But the letter (in a separate envelope than the bands) DOES say that we are invited to help test...
This may be a silly question, but is it possible to know whether or not the ride is running yet as you get in line?
Our plan was going to be to ride RSR and then get a FP for later. We always get so much accomplished at DL during that first hour, I'd really hate to waste it waiting for RSR if...
Does anyone know if it's a common occurrence for RSR to not be running first thing in the morning (7:00)?
We are going next week and we're planning on riding it right away and then doing the rest of CL before getting a FP after 8:00.
I guess we'll have to have a Plan B because I don't want...
We're thinking of doing the WOC dining package at AG but we have one problem we're hoping to work around. DS15 isn't interested in anything on the prix fixe menu, but the Seashell Pasta from the kiddie menu looks good to him. Do you think they'll let him order an adult-sized portion (since we'll...
I'm not sure if it speeds things along, but it can't hurt.
We are 10 days out so I just tried to do online check-in, mainly so I could make a room location request. When I hit the "special requests" button I get a pop-up but it does not let me type anything in! I don't know if it's a browser...
Oops -- one more question. How should I word my request when asking for a room close to Epcot? We'd like to be near the shortcut to the path to Epcot. Just ask for a room close to Epcot?!:rolleyes1
BC it is -- thanks for all the tips and the photo (I love being able to see something so I can visualize it how it really is)! Knowing about the "shortcut" is the clincher and SAB is icing on the cake. Can't wait until August!
It's so hard NOT to go back to a place you loved in the name of trying something new!
Glad to know there's a shortcut from the Epcot end of BC -- that's great. I think I'm leaning toward BC just for a new experience (plus I know I won't be disappointed.) But we sure did love BWI. Also stayed...
After a wonderful stay at BWI last summer, we are headed back to WDW! I booked a wonderful rate at the Swan since we love the BW area but I'm trying to be a bit frugal. Now rates are lower for our dates and BWI is just a bit more than Swan, so I think we'll switch (love that Disney magic 24/7)...
We are planning to order WOC picnic meals for our March visit. I personally think the kid's meal with the chicken and the vanilla cupcake looks really good. Also, my 18-year-old DS also wants the kid's meal.
Since adult and kid picnic meals are the same price, is there any reason why an...
Which will be easier and more efficient: walk to rental car in BWI lot, drive to MK, tram to monorail, walk to gate in order to be there by 7:30 OR ride bus from BWI stop to MK? The bus sounds easier to me, but it seems like it offers potential for stress if we just miss a bus and have to wait...
