    **September 2019**

We are a family of four taking our two sons (who will be 9 and a few weeks shy of 6 years old) on their first ever Disney trip! We are so excited for them to experience the rides and the characters and the MAGIC of it all. Our older son is into Star Wars and our younger son LOVES Minnie (and...

    Boat rentals

How many of you have ever rented small boats to pilot yourself around the lake? We are staying at Beach Club and would love to rent one of the smaller boats to tool around the lake on our downtime. Looks like $45 per 30 minutes for the 6 passenger boat (we are a family of 4). Neither of us has...

Garden Grill Breakfast Res: How early is too early to show up?

Really, that early for an 8:35 and they will let us in and get seated?? That’s awesome!

Garden Grill Breakfast Res: How early is too early to show up?

Wanted to do the "early breakfast reservation at GG so we could get to Soarin before the Rope Drop crowd" thing. Earliest reservation I was able to snag was an 8:35am. While I will continue to look and see if I can snag an earlier time, was wondering how early we could show up and get seated...

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Just a quick question: Staying BC 9/8-9/14, water view. Are there full size balconies available in this room tier? Want to make sure before I add this room request to our reservation.

What Dining Reservation is your Nemesis?

Today was my 180 day mark and one of the ADRs I wanted was an ‘Ohana dinner reso at 6pm. My TA could only get either a 4:10pm or 8:25pm. She booked the 4:10 but only for 3 people (we are 4) because that was the best she could do. I called WDW dining to see if they change it from 3 to 4 people...

    September and Oct EMH

We are 182 days out and I called WDW customer service and just asked if they had the hours for our dates. The agent gave me all the hours for our stay and EMH. The only weird thing was that there weren’t any EMH listed for HS. My guess is they are figuring things out still for SWGE?

    Departure day what to do?

On our departure date, we won’t be using a park ticket so we will be sleeping in and then having a late breakfast at Chef Mickey’s so the kids have one last encounter with the Mickey magic. Maybe take the monorail around the loop then spend some time at the Boardwalk (we are staying at BC)...

HS EMH during SWGE Opening days?

We are in WDW September 8-14th and I called to get the hours for the parks (180 day ADR window is approaching and the park hours aren't online for my dates). Was surprised that there weren't any EMH for HS in the morning or evening. Is this common? Hours are 9-8:30pm that whole week we are...

Is SWGE impacting your trip? Discuss your plans here!

We are taking our two sons (one is 9 and the other will be a few weeks shy of 6 when we go) for their first, and possibly only, trip to Disney. We are scheduled to be there September 8th-14th. I'm excited that our boys will probably have the chance to see the land and ride the Millennium...

    Thoughts on my reservation plans?

You’re totally right! I went back and edited the post. So that totals 16TS credits so far. That leaves us with 8 TS credits to use so I guess those can go towards lunches. Best park lunches??

    Thoughts on my reservation plans?

We will be staying at Beach Club on the DxDP for 7 days/6 nights with our two sons who will be 9 and almost 6. We will spend 5 days in the parks, 1 midweek off-day at the pool and our checkout day at Disney Springs. Here are my thoughts for dining reservations: Breakfasts Cape Mays 1TS...

    Gift cards and MagicBands

That’s helpful. Didn’t know you could merge gift cards. Thanks everyone. I don’t want to have to deal with keeping track of their purchases to pay later at the desk because they charged it on our credit card. Guess we will just be carrying around their gift cards.
