I'm just back from my 7 day Disneyland vacation and we were able to attend the special AP event and it was amazing! My daughter loved the photo ops with the characters and floats ;) I hope they do this annually ;) it was awesome!

I will be using my AP pass all next week and I bought the Halloween event ticket :) I'm so excited

Thanksgiving 2009 was fairly low crowds. :) Hope it works out for you. We went last year the week before Xmas and it was fairly busy. :)

I want to say that Disney has a parking lot on Katella across from the Garden Walk, you could always walk to the parking lot and catch the Disneyland shuttle buses from there. :) Save you some walking time.
