I bought 40 points, just enough to have a couple of nights in a studio once a year. We have enough points at AKL but I wanted this for shorter trips. I think I paid $121 in closing costs? My guide told me that they have a lot of contracts to run through so my points might not be deposited until...
If it's a long trip, the party, because you'll be getting plenty of park time in. If you're going during a time with limited hours, then I would get the hoppers. I know that a lot of people don't hop, but I think you can't beat the convenience.
I'm a TA so I'm a bit biased, but here goes.
As far as you ADRs go, you can do as much or as little as you want. I would say 90% of my clients do their own because they enjoy doing it. Some ask for me to book the hard to get ADRs (like Be Our Guest or Ohana) and they take care of the rest...
Thanks. There's still a parking garage under these villas, like in the rest of Kidani? We will have a car (thank goodness).
I just switched over. Had to buy 18 points, but it was still cheaper than the 2 rooms I had booked at Coronado and now I don't have to move after the first night.
Thank you! I'm going to call member services this morning and switch over if I can. So none of these villas face the parking lot? That was my biggest concern.
Could any of you tell me about the Kidani GV standard views? Right now I have a savanna view but I need another night and the only way to do it is to move down to a standard view.
A link to a map of the GV locations would be great if any of you have it.
Thanks!
We're staying at the Grand Californian in a two-bedroom and I'm wondering if I can upgrade to concierge using cash? This will my first (yay!) DVC stay as an owner and I am so excited.
Thanks!
Can anyone direct me to a site for golf cart rentals? Is it true that Kenny from Tee Time is the only one who drops off at the campground (or is it that he drops off out front).
Thank you.
Booking engines like Expedia buy blocks of rooms, so they can sometimes offer what Disney can't. Just be careful--their cancellation policies are pretty harsh. I'll rent a car through these services but I won't trust an expensive Disney reservation to one of them.
There's always less availability at the mods, in part because there are fewer rooms but also because families of 5 will snap up POR very quickly. You can still get FD for most dates at Coronado and CBR, just not at Port Orleans.
It's looking like that discount doesn't include the Little Mermaid rooms. I've been trying to get this for a client in January and was originally told it was available, but went back later to book (and checked with two different CMs) and was told it's not.
If anyone knows differently, please...
