    Ariel's Tri Tip or Cioppino?

I love the cioppino, and always order it when we eat at Ariel's.

Crowne Plaza Resort-Anaheim/Garden Grove-Tell me about it

We like it there. The parking lot can be a problem, because access to the hotel is a tiny bit far, and when they have special events happening, parking gets crazy. The spots are on the smaller side, and people don't seem to be able to park straight, so that combo can be brutal. The pool is nice...

Which hotels can you see fireworks from?

We were able to see them from the Hyatt Regency Orange County. It is much better to see them from inside the park though, b/c the accompanying music MAKES the show.

Year of a Million Celebrity Sightings! UPDATE 12/17: It happened again - 1st post

Okay, yesterday was my first "celebrity" sighting. I saw one of the playboy playmates from that reality show on Alice in Wonderland. I don't know her name, but she's the one that is Hef's main girl. The other two were not with her.

StorybookLand Canal Boats: How Do Lines Vary?

We always hop in line right after the afternoon parade ends. I can't handle waiting in the queue because it's so tight and crowded. We usually end up being in one of the first 2 boats, and it's also nice because the boats just line up at the dock to load, since there is no one to unload. :)...

Anyone have tix for TT Morning Madness?

Good point! I didn't even think of that. I guess we would only need 1 then.

Anyone have tix for TT Morning Madness?

Can I be added to the list for 2 tickets? The new baby is arriving soon and my husband is planning on taking our 2 year old for a special day out. :)

Does anybody else find this ridiculous?

You also forgot to mention that by the time you fasten your seatbelt, the ride is already over! It might be slow, but it is amazingly short. :)

    Beat Feet *throb... ouch... throb*

By far, the most comfortable "shoes" that I own are Reef flip flops. I like Rainbow Sandals too, but the leather soles are not the most comfy for me. The regular footbed on the flip flops is made of a material that allows your foot to imprint into the sole and makes it a personalized fit. I...

    To ride Nemo or not?

We went on Nemo on Tuesday. The wait was 120 minutes, yet all we heard from people walking by was, "I'm not waiting in a 4 hour line". Where they got that idea, I have no clue, but I think a lot of people just assumed it would be a long wait and didn't try. It was around 4:00 when we got in...

Anyone have opinions of ESPN Zone at DTD?

We went on Monday without reservations for lunch at around 1:00 or so and were able to get seated right away. Good service, and loved the food. Liked it much more than the Rainforest Cafe.

For those who've eaten at the Blue Bayou and have had as follows:

My husband has had the jambalaya and actually did like it quite well with the exception that the shrimp and crab were quite sparse. I think it had 2 shrimp and one (small) crab leg. Flavor was very good though.

Dinner: Steakhouse 55 vs. Storyteller's Cafe?

We decided to try the Steakhouse 55 2 days ago because of the 30% off discount for APs, and we were not impressed. Better than a chain, but not good enough to be called a great steakhouse. The cuts of meat were overseasoned, but we liked the ambiance and our waiter. We had the rack of lamb and...

    Disappointed in Blue Bayou

I used to be an AP about 4 years ago, and back then, Blue Bayou used to be a great place to eat. Loved the crab cakes. We now have APs again, and now the food is just so-so. We've been a few times, and have decided not to go back. It's just too expensive for the lack of quality. The only thing I...
