A Tampa native here and I'd eat at the Columbia every night if I could. The 1905 salad truly lives up to the hype!! If you like casual sitdown spots for burgers, we like Fuddruckers in the CrossRoads Plaza. Just be prepared for all the traffic congestion in that area on weekend evenings.

I agree. We've used them a few times now and they are not too bad. We live 60 minutes from WDW but will be spending a week at DLR in early March. FP+ wasn't a factor in our decision though, we just wanted to check the place out!

I live 2 blocks from Bayshore in Tampa. Not sure when that pic was taken, but it was under several feet of water today. At points, it looked much worse than depicted in the picture posted due to the storm surge.

The Dream does have the digital kiosk, but they also still print all of the pictures out. The difference is that they now group all of your stateroom photos together in a folder so you don't have to search through walls of photos for your own. There was also still a few walls of random photos...

I was on the Dream last week and asked if I could record the ride with my waterproof camera. I was not given any problem at all and recorded a few rides (both day and night). I would make sure it is a waterproof camera, as it is likely to get wet.

Yes, formal night was on night 2 and pirate night was on night 3. We repeated nights 3 and 4 in the same dining room. Night 3 has a pirate menu that is the same in all 3 dining rooms.

I think Wednesday evening should be ok. The weather guy here in Tampa said we should start feeling some impact on Thursday. Tampa is about 80 miles west of Orlando, so worst case you can always try to fly into Tampa since we are a little further from the storm.

Tampa wouldn't be an option, unfortunately. The Dream is too big to fit under the Skyway Bridge...I'm not even sure the Wonder or Magic would fit. The local 11:00 news in Tampa just predicted Irene to be a Cat 4 when she passes over the Bahamas...scary stuff.
