Thank you both, I'll have to try back on Monday.

Phone # for days left on a ticket?

Okay, perhaps I was just imagining this, but I thought I had seen a thread that stated you now can find out how many days are left on your ticket without being at WDW. I tried the search feature, but couldn't locate the thread. And I just got off the phone with WDW reservations, and was told...

Is it possible to change your username?

Oh no, all my hard work to become a "DIS Veteran" will be lost. :rotfl2: Thank you Caskbill, just wanted to make certain before setting up another username. Should I let you or another moderator know when I have it changed and my subscriptions, etc. changed to my new account, to delete...

Is it possible to change your username?

I'm sorry if I'm just overlooking this, but I was hoping to change my username, instead of setting up a new account. I was wanting to change it to BuzzBiteyear if possible. TIA

Are milkshakes covered as a drink credit on DxDDP?

Along the same lines, can a milkshake count as a Snack Credit?

Why Does Disney Not Offer Short Term Ticket Deals?

I think it's hard to compare the two. With WDW your base of potential guests is the world, while Six Flags, NY your base is much more regionalized. Someone in the Great Lakes region is going to likely head to Six Flags, IL, Cedar Point or Kings' Island, not giving Six Flags, NY or any other...

    Automatic tip or not?

    Thank you Tricia.

    Automatic tip or not?

I've been wondering about this. We're going in September, and will be on the Disney Dining Plan. Our group for most meals will be 4 adults, 1 child, and 1 free child (1 y/o). I believe that a party of 6 will have an 18% tip automatically calculated, but am wondering if we would be considered...

    World of Disney in NYC

The website is stating they have meet 'n greets on each day, except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We did go on a Monday a couple weeks ago. As for wait times, we saw the schedule, and waited about 10 minutes for it to open, and were the 3rd group in line.

Disney Dinner Impossible on tonight- 10PM on FoodNetwork.

Well, Mother Nature decided that I was not going to watch this show. A little after 10pm last night our power went out, and not expected to be restored until 11pm tomorrow night. Hopefully, this show will be re-aired again in the near future.

San Angel Inn IN Epcot, is it good?

We've always enjoyed our meals at San Angel. I do think the atmosphere is worth it alone, and we've never had an issue with the food either. I think you just need to go in with the thought that, it likely will not be the best Mexican meal you've ever had. But I find myself using this thought...

    World of Disney in NYC

Not sure where I really should post this, but wanted to let others know if you were unaware of this store. There is a World of Disney store in New York City with themepark merchandise, and character meet 'n greets. We went east for a baseball trip, and just saw a flyer in our hotel about the...

How old for Goofy's Roller Coster?

Our DS4 rode the similar kiddie coaster at DL when he was about 2 1/2 for the first time. He's rode The Barnstormer numerous times since then and just loves it. DW or I always ride with him. I really wish they'd have a different latching/belting system, since so many parents ride with their...

    Refillable Mugs in the Parks

I'm sorry, I took the OP as wanting to know if there were free refillable mugs in the parks after you purchased the mug like you do at the resorts. I would say there are not those types of mugs in MK, Epcot, AK, and DHS. To me paying any amount for a refill, is not similar to the resort...

    The antics at WCC please!

Someone in my party let the waiter know that I was really thirsty. And believe it or not, I did finish my drink, after drinking my original and refill. I still think you should get a pin if you finish the "thirsty" drink. Another thing you should do is ask for a Pepsi.

    Refillable Mugs in the Parks

Unless the policy has recently changed, there are not any refillable-type mugs for the parks.

Poll, Tip % or set amount

We tip by %'s, generally no less than about 10% up to 25% (usually my tip is around 18-20% though, and rarely is it under 15%). I tend to tip higher %'s at places where the cost of the meal is less. I have also noticed, since our 2 boys have come along, my tipping % overall has drastically...
