    Turtle Talk with Crush

We love Crush! Last time we went Boo (6 at the time) ended up front and center. I guess the sequins on her shirt caught Crush's eye, because she was the first one he called on. I don't think she was too thrilled (she doesn't like to be put on the spot). But Crush taught her to speak turtle...

What Characters Do You Wish You Could Meet?

I have three pictures I would treasure forever and ever. 1) Boo with my "Boo" - We're going to DHS for the first time since I got married, so even if I have to get a pic of my DD with Boo in the parade in the background this a must. Honestly this is the only Pixar film that gets rewatched in...

Couple timing questions - CRT and HDD

Looking for some input on timing since we have not done these two before (fyi - We'll be 4 adults and 3 children - ages 6, 5, and 1 - one car) And this will be the first weekend in Feb so I believe crowds should be fairly low: 1) Hoop De Doo Revue 5pm show (sunday)- We will be coming from the...

    Tangled

We saw it today! (not 3D). Overall I really liked it. My 6-yo daughter had tears flowing at the end. For some reason the movie scared her, not sure why, it's not any scarier than other Disney animations (I would say less so - PatF was way scarier to me) - which has never bothered her before...

    best disney cd's?

My favorite is Disney's Music From The Park (1996) Yes, it's covers by famous people but you just can't beat Tim Curry singing Ballad of Davy Crockett and Bare Naked Ladies rendition of Grim Grinning Ghosts.

What are your top 3 favorite Disney movies?

    1. Beauty and the Beast 2. Sleeping Beauty 3. Tangled - I don't care if it's not out yet - I've been waiting for them to make a Rapunzel story for almost 20 years (since BatB came out) It will be an instant favorite for me.

Taking my child alone, without husband, anyone ever done this?

Granted we only live 2.5 hours away and only went for a weekend, but I just got back last night from a 2 day/2 park trip with my 5-yo DD. We did MK and AK. Also we stayed offsite at my cousin's house so I did have to deal with driving back and forth. We go up alone because DH is anti-Disney...

Hi all! sorry to burst in here but was wondering if anyone knew where i could pick up the little bling crystals. I think it was here that I first saw the Converse high tops with the crystals on the toe part. I would like to make a pair for my daughter for the holidays and unfortunately am...

Pictures of the worn out kids....lets see them.

DD had no problem falling asleep in the WDW strollers, though watching my Dniece losing her battle over the week was fun. "Why is she sleeping on me?": "No, must fight the urge...": Gone:

    3-yo re: Crush show & autographs/meeting characters ?'s

We leave for DD3's first trip to Disney in four days! :cheer2: And I have a couple last minute questions: #1: I haven't been to the parks since they put the Talking with Crush show in - Will my 3-yo be ok sitting in front with all the older kids or should we keep her in the back with us? The...

Maybe this is a silly fantasy but...

linda36d, We will be in Epcot on the 2nd also and in case you didn't know, the Beach Boys are playing that evening as part of the Eat to the Beat Series. Three concerts at 5:45, 7:00 and 8:15 I believe. My mom (who will be with us) raised us on the Beach Boys, so I'm sure we'll be first in...

    Room key question

We're staying at a 2-bed at OWK with essential 3 families - I assume that only one credit card can be assigned to a room/set of room keys? So I'm guessing this won't work for us because I'm not dealing with figuring out who owes who what, etc. if we're all putting it on one family's CC.

OT: Back When Mom and Dad Were in Charge

Oh, we are already raising her in a benvolent dictatorship - witnessed tonight when she got her little tush put to bed early because of her tantrum, ignoring and refusing to respond to me. (it was within a half hour to bedtime and after time out did nothing) I just don't think the actual...

OT: Back When Mom and Dad Were in Charge

I always say, the "fear of God" was not instilled in us (me and my sister) - the "fear of Mom" was. :scared: When DD is old enough I fully plan to example to her that this an benevolent dictatorship - not a democracy. :lmao:

Explain Hannah Montana to me, please?

I guess, it just goes back to how I was raised (not allowed to read Sweet Valley High type books until I was actually IN high school - that kind of stuff) For my mom it's wasn't what age they were targeting/approp. for - it was not allowed in the house until my parents felt it was appropriate...

Explain Hannah Montana to me, please?

I'll admit I have only one 3-yo daughter so we're not into this craziness as of yet. Even when she's 5-6-7 I couldn't imagine her being interested in what is basically a teen show. When I was 7-8-9 I was all about The Chipmunks - which was the only concert I saw as a child. But I'm just not...

Driving to WDW...Which departure time would you choose?

We tried to do the over night trip from South Florida to Nashville, thinking DD (who was 2 at the time) would sleep through the trip. It was a nightmare for us. She screamed and cried the whole night and it didn't help that the DVD player went on the friz after the first three hours. There was...

Heading to WDW in Oct. Question about using a stroller for 3 YO

We have the same problem... I think the agreement on this board would be to take a stroller, but I think it really depends on the kid and how resistant they would be to the stroller. Since my DD was born, she has been resistant to anything that restrains her - car seats, swings...
