I just returned from our stay at the Grand Floridian. They replaced the lobby carpet last week and already had all the furniture back in place before we left on Sunday. Not sure about the grand staircase because I was too busy admiring the BEAUTIFUL new carpet in the lobby!! :)

I'd change to GF. To be fair, I have not stayed at the Poly but have visited numerous times. We just returned from our first stay at the Grand and it was HEAVENLY! The staff was SO friendly and attentive. Always greeted with smiles, "Hi" and "Have a Grand day!" We dressed up for dinner a...

Just called and told they weren't booking yet. I asked her to please check again because I knew people were getting reservations. She tried it and it let her. She was told not booking until 28th so she was glad she checked! Got Friday, May 21 for 2 adults! :cool1:

We are going Tuesday, October 20. We are not dressing up. Dining at Crystal Palace before event.

I was there last week and did online checkin before leaving home. Check-in took about 2 minutes. Our cards were ready, our requests were met, dinning plan included and our ADRs with special celebration requests were fine. No problems with anything.

I have the same problem, my soon-to-be husband does not want to dine with characters. After hearing good reviews, I booked Boma. I also booked Whispering Canyon at the WLodge. WC is loud and silly but he said that was fine just no characters. I would love to hear other suggestions.

We were there with my nieces, 2yr. & 6yr., for Christmas in 2005. I bought a tree, red/white lightes and small balls at Hobby Lobby and took it. Checked it as a bag at the airport. That day when we arrived we went to DTD and bought some Mickey ornaments at the Christmas store. We decorated...

We always take that 1st, NS flight out of L'ville! It used to be @ 7 but ours is now for 7:25 also!!! Anyway, we always get there 1 & 1/2 hours early. We always have more than enough time to check our luggage in and get through security.

we have found this to be true for us as well. We like booking our air with Disney because if any changes are made with our flights Disney contacts us by phone immediately! We don't have to keep up with anything Dis does it for us. Very convenient!

I do not even know what to say. I never met Bob but I loved listening to him and he made me laugh!!! My thoughts and prayers are with his family and the Podcast team. I cannot imagine what you guys are feeling. So sad... :sad1:

I LOVE having a different area specifically related to the Podcast. I listen faithfully and it is convenient and easy to find discussions and info related to the show. It would be difficult to find Podcast discussions and info if it is scattered in other areas/threads. Keep it as it is Pete!
